Concentration is the one-pointedness of mind. Wisdom is the correct and thorough discernment of all phenomena. The eleven virtues are: First, to have genuine faith in karma and its results, the Truths, and the Three Jewels. Humility is being free from fault by taking responsibility for oneself or the Dharma. Conscientiousness is being mindful of the world and refraining from faults. Non-attachment is the antidote to attachment, being averse and not accepting. The root of virtue is the antidote to attachment. Non-hatred is the antidote to hatred, giving rise to love again. The root of virtue is love. Non-ignorance is realizing the true meaning. The root of virtue is realization. Diligence is the antidote to laziness. To be delighted in virtue. Pliancy is the antidote to afflictions, making body and mind serviceable. Not afflicted. Vigilance is not being attached to desires, not abandoning hatred. Not being ignorant, abandoning non-virtue. Among the three kinds of equanimity, here it is equanimity of action. Non-attachment, diligence, pliancy. Non-harming is non-hatred, which is compassion itself. The six root afflictions are: Desire is clinging and attachment to the five objects of desire. Anger is to be mentally tormented by all sentient beings. Pride is to regard one's own body as "I" and "mine," thinking that one is superior to others, having no respect, and being arrogant to all. The five views are the view of the aggregates of existence, the view of holding to extremes, the view of holding to what is inferior as superior, the view of holding to moral discipline and asceticism as superior, and wrong views.
