Because of knowing the order of superior, intermediate, and inferior, and all categories. (The power of knowing the path of all beings). sarva-tāgāminī-pratibandha-jñāna-bala-na (Sanskrit). It is the power of knowing the path of all beings, that is, because of completely knowing all the paths such as the path of birth in the five realms of existence and the path to Nirvana. (The power of knowing all that is possessed). sarva-dhyāni-vimokṣa-samādhi-māva-vartti-dhi-si-kleśa-vyavadāna-vyutthāna-jñāna-balana (Sanskrit). It is the power of knowing all the meditations, liberations, samadhis, equanimities, all defilements, purifications, and arisings, that is, the four meditations beginning with the first meditation, the eight liberations, the many samadhis such as emptiness, and the nine successive equanimities, and all defilements, which are explained as being defiled by views and objects, etc. Purification refers to being free from attachment to samsara and being pure with non-objectification. Arising refers to knowing the arising in ways such as accordance, discordance, and transcendence. Knowing the recollection of previous lives. pūrva-nivāsānusmṛti-jñāna-balana (Sanskrit). It is called the power of knowing the recollection of previous lives, that is, knowing where oneself and sentient beings have been born in countless previous lives, what the appearance of the body was like, what signs and marks there were, and what karma caused the birth, hence the name. The power of knowing death and birth. cyutyupapatti-jñāna-balam (Sanskrit). It is called the power of knowing death and birth, that is, because with the divine eye one sees all sentient beings dying from where and being born where, hence the name. It is called. It is named the blue-green precious horse. Because it is as swift as the force of clouds, it is called the one with the force of clouds. The blue horse with the force of clouds is the seat of Ratnasambhava. Called "Four Magical Feet" (Sanskrit Devanagari: catvāri ṛddhi-pādā, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: catvāri ṛddhi-pādā, Chinese literal meaning: four, magical power, feet). The four are: desire, mind, diligence, and contemplation. With these four—desire, mind, diligence, and contemplation—one becomes the basis and cause of magical powers such as walking in the sky, which are called the magical feet. The magical foot of desire. The magical foot that is complete with the effort to abandon desire and concentration is when the mind abides in concentration, and because of extraordinary joy and faith, one constantly enters the gate of concentration, and the mind attains one-pointedness, which is called the concentration of desire. The magical foot of the mind. The magical foot that is complete with the effort to abandon the concentration of the mind is when one has meditated on samadhi in previous lives. Or, in this life, one has accumulated the habit of meditating on samadhi from before, and because of the power of long-term meditation, one attains one-pointedness. The magical foot of diligence. The magical foot that is complete with the effort to abandon the concentration of diligence is when one abandons sinful and unwholesome dharmas, and through antidotes, one generates and increases wholesome dharmas, and one strives without interruption, and from this, the mind attains one-pointedness. The magical foot of contemplation. The magical foot that is complete with the effort to cultivate the concentration of contemplation is when one listens to the sacred Dharma from a virtuous friend, and with the wisdom of reflection, one analyzes and determines the characteristics of all dharmas as impermanence and emptiness, etc., and without doubt, one obtains one-pointedness of mind from observing and contemplating. The freedom of Amitabha is the seat of the peacock. To have power over life is to remain as one wishes. To have power over karma is not to be controlled by karma. To have power over resources is to have mastery over the treasury of space, and to have power over inclination is to transform beings according to their inclinations. To have power over aspirations is to fulfill whatever one aspires to. And to have power over magical abilities. To transform as one wishes. To have power over birth.
