Unthinking, stainless, utterly pure, not a thing, self-illuminating, clear of itself. Unsought, primordially spontaneously accomplished. Other than itself, there is nothing, there is no duality. Without bias, it is equality itself. Without grasping, it is self-illuminating, wisdom itself. Uncontrived, unadulterated, it is the nature of reality. Without limit, it is the sphere of the profound Dharma. From the beginning, it is unsought, abiding in itself. Abiding together, it is wisdom. Thus it was said. The Tathagata, the King of Dharma, the Lord of Power, said: All phenomena of appearance and existence are only one's own mind. Since there is no Dharma apart from mind, the characteristic of mind itself is: Appearing in any way, there is no grasping. Without interruption, without falling into partiality. Without birth, without cessation, without substance. Without object, self-arisen, equality itself. Self-knowing, self-illuminating, emptiness itself. Clear and empty, empty and clear. Vividly clear, knowing and empty. Knowing emptiness, self-illuminating, without beginning or end. Knowing is without substance, uncompounded. Empty and clear, non-dual, without beginning or end. Without distraction in that state. In the insubstantial, self-illuminating, utterly pure. Knowing is uncontrived, self-liberated. When that realization is unconfused, abiding in itself: Without effort, accomplishment, or striving, liberation into the Dharmakaya. The two form bodies arise spontaneously. Thus it was said. The Tathagata, the King of Light Rays, the Glorious One, said: One's own knowing, the Bodhicitta, is empty, clear, and uncompounded. Insubstantial, truly transparent. Uncontrived, self-arisen, spontaneously accomplished. Without grasping, all-pervasive, equality itself. Without beginning or end, without limit. Without cause or condition, without birth or cessation. Beyond emptiness, without obscuration, pure, uncontrived, unsought, without interruption. Self-nature is insubstantial, clear in knowing. Self-illuminating, without grasping, empty, without self. Abiding self-arisen, without cause or condition. Insubstantial, self-illuminating, without an object of activity. Without cessation, therefore without interruption. If one is not distracted in such a meaning: Without effort, the three Kayas are perfected. Thus it was said. The Tathagata, the All-Expanding Wisdom Flower, said: Since mind itself has no form, it is one with the realm of space. Mind itself is separate from all colors and things. Since mind itself has no object, it does not rely on this as a support. Since mind itself has no seed, it is separate from nurturing and continuity. Since mind itself has no cause or condition, it does not depend on anything. Since mind itself has no beginning or end, it is equal in the three times. Mind itself is

Since there is no edge or center, awareness is vast and pervasive. The nature of mind is without substance, its essence is like the sky. The nature of mind is without effort, so it is naturally and spontaneously accomplished. The nature of mind is without stain, so its essence is completely pure. The nature of mind is without obscuration, so self-awareness abides self-luminous. The nature of mind is without self-grasping, so self-awareness abides self-luminous. The nature of mind is without self-grasping, so it is free from the fabrications of extremes. The nature of mind is without interruption, so awareness arises without partiality. The nature of mind is without cessation, so compassion pervades all. The nature of mind has no path or realization, distraction is primordially nonexistent. That itself is the Buddha, there is no need to accomplish it from elsewhere. Thus it was said. Thus Gone One, Wisdom Vast and Profound as the Ocean, said: Regarding the characteristic of self-aware mind, There is no cause, no condition, no birth. There is no abiding and no cessation. It is unexaminable, there is no examiner. There is no identification, no grasper or grasped. There is no self-nature and no characteristic. There is no movement by conceptual thought. There is no movement of latent tendencies. Self-luminous, without obscuration, without edge or center. In the realm of activity, there is no good or bad in activity. In equality, there is no self or other. Without limit, there is no beginning or end. Without conceptual thought, there is no change. Object and mind are two-in-one, there is no inside or outside. Unceasingly clear, there is no interruption. Without object, without grasping, there is no increase or decrease. Revolving in everything, there is no interruption. Completely free from falling to one side. Self-born, self-aware, naturally broken. Self-knowing, self-purified, naturally liberated. Free from self-grasping, ungraspable. Without obscuration, pure, truly clear. Realizing the mind of mind is Buddhahood. In non-duality, there is no thing. Thus, examining the mind of mind, Clarity of awareness arises in oneself. Therefore, conceptual thought is naturally liberated. Because the mind has no substance, Therefore, the basis for the accumulation of habits does not exist. Without habits, that clear awareness Is the intention of the Buddhas themselves. Thus it was said. Thus Gone One, Sun Essence Utterly Clear, said: All that appears in samsara and nirvana, Is self-appearance, inseparable, the realm of dharmata. Awareness is vast and pervasive, everything is clear, Awareness is self-liberated, it is wisdom. Not produced by cause, self-born, Without beginning, it is essence itself. Not shaken by conditions, without cessation, Without end, and without antidote. Thus, without substance, it pervades all, Self-luminous in the three times, graspi
