Since there is no existence, there is also no arising. Since there are no things, there is no appearance. Since it is self-illuminating wisdom, there is also no emptiness. Since there is no grasping, there is also no object. Since it is self-arisen, there are no causes and conditions. Since it is spontaneously accomplished, there are no hopes and doubts. Since it is pure, there are no impurities. Since it is equality, there is no partiality. Unfabricated, uncorrected, there is no change. Perfectly pure, essence, non-existent, clear. Unborn, unarisen, unceasingly manifest. Self-arisen, self-illuminating, self-liberated, pure, unfabricated, perfectly pure, luminous. Since there is nothing to grasp, there are no things. Since there is no grasping, wisdom is clear. Since there is no birth and death, the three times are one; since there is no self and other, it is equality. Since there is no artificiality or self-awareness, self-awareness is clear. Since there is no bias, the boundary is not broken. Since there is no permanence or annihilation, it is free from exaggeration and defamation. Grasping is unfabricated, and the self is pure. Since there is no mind of partiality, Knowledge is unfabricated and abides in its own place. The nature of reality is equality. Mind itself is self-illuminating and without grasping. All-pervading equality, without acceptance or rejection. Grasping and discriminating, its own sound, liberated in its own place. Without anything to grasp, everything is clear. The nature of non-duality is without elaboration. There is no object of thought, no object of focus. The self-illumination without partiality. Without distraction and non-conceptualization. Without obscuration, unfabricated, without distraction, clear. The true state of awareness is true. The essence of nature is as it is. Samsara and Nirvana, the basis, without beginning or end. Awareness is empty and clear, abiding in its own place. That nature is self-liberated as Dharmakaya. It is said to be the intention of all Buddhas. From the Tantra of the Definitive Explanation of the Intention of Manjushri's Six Thousand Verses, the chapter on the Intention of the Buddha Vajra Radiant Empowerment, the five hundred and thirteenth is complete. Then, the Buddha of the Northeast, the Glorious Supreme Source of Qualities, spoke. Unborn self-awareness is unfabricated. Unceasing wisdom is self-illuminating. Empty, clear, equal, and unwavering. The Dharmakaya without error. The Buddha of the Southeast, the Glorious and True Liberator of All Samsara, spoke. The essence of self-arisen wisdom. Without inside or outside, unceasingly clear. Without anything to grasp, pervading all. There is nothing other than the nature of great bliss. The Buddha of the Southwest, the World-Saving Mother of Light, spoke. Non-appearing wisdom is perfectly pure. Unfabricated, originally self-arisen. It cannot be transformed by the mind of effort. That nature

Essence, Bodhicitta. Spoken by the Buddha of the Northwest, the Glorious King, the Supreme of Qualities: Unborn, self-aware, unfabricated, Unobstructed wisdom, self-illuminating, Non-appearing wisdom, free from cause and condition, Without beginning or middle, equality itself. Phenomena and existence are clear, yet without grasping, Immutable Dharmakaya, unfabricated and clear. Spoken by the Buddha of the Upper Direction, Essence of Wisdom, Glorious Sky: Bodhicitta without grasping, Unfabricated awareness, continuous and unbroken, Immutable mind itself is Vajra, Undistorted, definitely Dharmakaya. Spoken by the Buddha of the Lower Direction, Glorious Abundant Qualities: The very nature of self-arisen purity, Without beginning or middle, pervasive without substance, The wisdom of self-illuminating awareness, Abides unfabricated in equality. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Miraculous Mirror, the Sixty Thousand Verses of Manjushri: Chapter on the Intentions of All Buddhas, the Five Hundred and Fourteenth. Youthful Manjushri again requested: Great Vajradhara, Principal Buddha, From the stages of mind-essence practice, Clarity, non-thought, immovability, And non-distraction, please explain extensively. Having requested thus, it was again said: The stages of the four mind-essence practices, Great being, listen. Dharmakaya, self-arisen, utterly pure, The stages of practice are of four kinds: Clarity, non-thought, immovability, And non-distraction, these four. The general meaning has twelve aspects: Essence, nature, with example, Measure and definition, practice and object, Result, fault, wrong path, number. These twelve summarize the meaning of Dharmakaya. These are explained as follows: The essence of one's own clarity is: Because mind-essence is unobstructed and self-illuminating, By self-awareness, pure wisdom, The nature of awareness is wisdom itself, without substance, Primordially pure, transparent. The example is that Dharmakaya is self-illuminating, Like the essence of the sun without clouds. The function is that the five sense gates are unblocked, Clear to objects without substance. The measure is this present knowing, Clear superior seeing, without diminishing. The definition is that it is called 'mind' because it is unobstructed, Self-illuminating, unobstructed, without grasping. The object is the appearance of the Dharmadhatu, Unfabricated, without limit. The practice is like the rising of the moon without clouds, Like the rising of dawn, like a butter lamp, Clear without day or night. The result is that when Dharmakaya awareness arises, Sambhogakaya.
