Pao. Then, Vajrapani rose from his seat and requested the King of Great Power Gathering, saying: When sentient beings die and wander in the lower realms, how can they be guided? Please, Bhagavan, explain. Upon this request, the King of Great Power Gathering replied: Those sentient beings who wander due to karma, to guide them from the cycle of suffering and the lower realms, it is guided by those who possess skillful means and wisdom. Listen, great Vajrasattva, when sentient beings die and are in the depths of the cycle of suffering, they are bound by the net of conceptualization and caught by the snare of samsara. It is necessary to liberate them properly in the nature of reality. Then, bless the sentient beings, the antidote arises from within. By placing the letter རཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari ram, Romanized Sanskrit ram, literal Chinese meaning: Rang) on the eyes, it becomes a mandala of the fire of wisdom. With the fire of wisdom and the fire of bodhicitta, burn the habitual tendencies of the appearances of sentient beings. From the nose, it becomes a mandala of wind. My samadhi is the wind of wisdom, with the wind of the elements of arising, meditate on emptiness without obstruction. From the tip of the tongue, a stream of water flows gently. With the water of samadhi wisdom, and the water of bodhicitta, meditate on washing away those habitual tendencies. Purify with the smoke of the compassionate letter ti (Tibetan, Devanagari ti, Romanized Sanskrit ti, literal Chinese meaning: De). The ti (Tibetan, Devanagari ti, Romanized Sanskrit ti, literal Chinese meaning: De) of the smoke transforms into the letter hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit hum, literal Chinese meaning: Hum). By the blessings of the Great Seal, By sealing the door of desire, The dwelling place of the pretas is emptied. Fulfilling the samaya of the Padma family. At the place of infinite, Spha Ra Na Phat. By meditating on the syllable OM on the crown of the head, The father and mother, Vairochana, are generated. Endowed with four seals. By the blessings of the Great Seal, By sealing the door of ignorance, The dwelling place of animals is emptied. Fulfilling the samaya of the Tathagata. At the place of Vairochana, Spha Ra Na Phat. Through the door of such utterance, Like mixing colored water, It is transformed into the Dharmakaya. Then, purifying the five skandhas, And purifying the eight consciousness aggregates, These meanings are spoken. HUNG, great being, listen! The limbs of your five skandhas, The skandha of form is Vairochana. Feeling is Ratnasambhava, Perception is Amitabha. Formation is Amoghasiddhi, Consciousness is Vajrasattva.
