To the assembly of winged beings, I offer supplications: May the activity of subduing the great nagas be accomplished. To the assembly of skull-snakes, I offer supplications: May the activity of averting harmful influences be accomplished. To the assembly of wrathful kings, I offer supplications: May the activity of taming the wrathful ones be accomplished. To the assembly of the glorious ones, I offer supplications: May the activity of uniting father and mother be accomplished. To the assembly of great splendor, I offer supplications: May the activity of spontaneous accomplishment be accomplished. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse, the chapter on offering supplications and praises, the hundredth. Then, again, to the King of Power, Padma Heruka, it was said to offer the practice: In the throat, in the wheel of perfect enjoyment, the pure speech is marked by sixteen lotus petals, in the center of which is the red A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A), the seed-syllable of speech. Around it are thirteen syllables of Hulu (Tibetan: ཧུ་ལུ, Devanagari: हुरु, Romanized Sanskrit: huru, Literal meaning: Hulu), arranged in a garland of letters. On the crown of the head, in the wheel of great bliss, are thirty-two petals. In the center is the white Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om), the seed-syllable of mind. Surrounded by thirteen syllables of Zama Hulu (Tibetan: ཟ་མ་ཧུ་ལུ, Devanagari: जमहुरु, Romanized Sanskrit: jamahuru, Literal meaning: Zama Hulu). In the white silk curtain, the great pegs of defiled offerings are like a continuous string of beads. The precious seat is pure, and letters reside like dew drops. In the heart, the Dharma wheel has eight petals, together with the auspicious knot and a pair of wine vessels. The syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) resides red and radiant, surrounded by syllables of Zama Hulu (Tibetan: ཟ་མ་ཧུ་ལུ, Devanagari: जमहुरु, Romanized Sanskrit: jamahuru, Literal meaning: Zama Hulu). In the navel, in the wheel of emanation, there are sixty-four petals. In the center resides the yellow Svā (Tibetan: སྭཱ, Devanagari: स्वा, Romanized Sanskrit: svā, Literal meaning: Svā), with thirteen syllables, as before. In the fire-wind action wheel, there is a banner resembling the shape of a bow. In the center is the green syllable Hā (Tibetan: ཧཱ, Devanagari: हा, Romanized Sanskrit: hā, Literal meaning: Hā). The syllables of the mantra are the same as before. Thus, abiding clearly, one recites: Oṃ Hulu Hulu Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཧུ་ལུ་ཧུ་ལུ་ཕཊ, Devanagari: ओम् हुरु हुरु फट्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ huru huru phaṭ, Literal meaning: Oṃ Hulu Hulu Phaṭ). E Ā Ra Li Hūṃ Hrīḥ Jaḥ (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཨཱ་ར་ལི་ཧཱུཾ་ཧྲཱྀཿཛཿ, Devanagari: ए आ र लि हुं ह्रीः जः, Romanized Sanskrit: e ā ra li hūṃ hrīḥ jaḥ, Literal meaning: E Ā Ra Li Hūṃ Hrīḥ Jaḥ). By reciting thus, the samaya of the Buddhas of the three times is awakened. From the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse, the chapter explaining the meaning of Hulu, the one hundred and first. Then, Vajrapani, endowed with courage, spoke thus to the Teacher, the King of Power: Ema, Great Power, Lord of Power! I listen to the Lord of Power.
