Ah, the two of appearance and emptiness, are said to be examples of the great Dharma nature. The very sky is clear, the basis for generating all elements, said to be the four without error. From that arises wind, which lifts everything, is light and moves. Clear and unmixed, the color is clear. The three of generation, movement, and emptiness, rely on the three as seeds. It is shown as a seed. From that, burning describes the form and measure. Fire, which clarifies all awareness, the nature of fire is to burn. Likewise, the nature is stable. The nature of fire ripens and solidifies. Its characteristic of movement is described. It is said to generate everything. From that is water with characteristics, water lifts everything, water generates everything, it holds moisture, earth, and nectar. Possessing taste and essence, it is the characteristic of being liquid and moist. From that, the four elements are described. From that, the element is earth, earth is the basis for all to abide, it is hard and holds everything. Work and actions, etc., are said to be the basis for all to dwell. Earth generates everything, and from earth, the immeasurable palace relies on decoration, from that it is said to be the place of origin. The five elements are stable, the stable palace is Mount Meru. From that, the immeasurable mandala of the palace is clear. The mandala is the dwelling place of the gods. That is the external element. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse, the chapter on explaining the order of the external elements, the one hundred and seventy-ninth. Explanation of the inner elements: The five great elements are, the appearance of clarity is space, on the basis of all, from that the elements are generated, space is said to be the realm of the mind. When the elements abide in this way, or movement is said to be breath, the elements lift and move from the blood, the element of flesh is hard and stable, the element of heat is subduing and holding, the element of breath is light and moving, thus it is clear and moving. The five elements are non-dual, clear, and complete. Bones, marrow like Mount Meru, the way everything relies on that. Eight-petaled lotus like an immeasurable palace, eight channels branching out as nails, the door is that which is associated with it. The five aggregates are the five elements, from which the mandala of the gods is clear. All those that are clear in this way, are the immeasurable palace of the inner elements.

Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse, the chapter explaining the five inner elements, the one hundred and eightieth. Then explain the secret elements. For the five great elements, This is the secret element, All are the essence of the meaning of enlightenment, This is the complete explanation of the elements. What has not arisen is the element of space, What has not ceased is said to be wind, What is not born is the element of water, What does not abide is the element of earth, What does not move is the element of fire. Thus abiding is Mount Meru, What is clear is the non-conceptual mandala. From this arises the mental element, Five is the meaning of clear wisdom. Thus, by understanding, meditate on clarity, It is said to be the great element of understanding. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse,) the chapter on the secret element, the one hundred and eighty-first. Thus, after explaining all the procedures, Now clearly explain the mandala. Drawing images as pictures, Is the mandala of the supporting deity. Body, speech, and mind are arranged, Abiding in the form of a wheel, This is said to be the great inner mandala. The clear and unmixed mandala, For those who are clear in the mind of enlightenment, It is said to be the great secret mandala. Without gaps or spaces, The letters abide in rows, This is the mandala of recitation and approach. Thus, the deities are clear and unmistakable, If the three mandalas become clear, The Nirmanakaya and the Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya and others are clear. The result manifests as the Dharmakaya, Benefit for beings manifests as the Nirmanakaya. Thus, with clear understanding, And possessing the true mandala, Performing the benefit of beings as the Nirmanakaya. Through its great blessings, Obtain the fruit that has not been reached. Do not seek from elsewhere, that is the meaning itself, Self-born in oneself, pervading all. Therefore, it abides in the root. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Play of the Supreme Horse, the chapter showing the outer, inner, and secret mandalas, the one hundred and eighty-second. Then again, what should be explained, The order of the deities is shown, The generation of deities is of three kinds, Showing the three outer, inner, and secret. As the outer generation of deities is, Showing the five outer elements, From the gradual expansion of letters, First, the root letter Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and Li (藏文:ལི,梵文天城体:li,梵文罗马拟音:li,汉语字面意思:哩) and Ja (藏文:ཛ,梵文天城体:ja,梵文罗马拟音:ja,汉语字面意思:匝), Ma and other letters,
