From the Tantra of the Black Secret Moon, the chapter on suppressing the wheel is the twenty-first. For example, a brave man who wishes to repel war must diligently create armor and weapons, and then he will be able to repel war. Because armor relies on the blacksmith, the warrior must rely on the blacksmith. The blacksmith smelts iron from stone, and from iron forges armor and weapons. Then diligently strive for liberation, pouring in sesame oil and pleasing things. Then one must know the method of forging. Similarly, the great yogi, first in order to please the Lama, must offer cherished and pleasing things, and also obtain permission and the empowerment of oral transmission. After giving the instructions, one must diligently practice. One must know the essential mantra for subduing demons. Six hundred thousand, three hundred thousand, one hundred thousand, and also another one hundred thousand must be known. Then the wise one can perform the activities. The wise one must examine the objects, time, and direction. Generally perform among thousands upon thousands. Pure activities are of three types: the wheel, the burnt offering, and the suppression. First perform the activity of the wheel, then it is called the activity of suppression. Finally perform the activity of fire, accomplishing all the activities of propitiating the fire god. First complete the recitation, and then perform the activity of turning the wheel. With the wheel made from a bow, using the method of the activity of suppression, the activities of homa and burnt offering are explained. On a triangular stove, draw a black vajra cross. Place a lingam of food. On it place thorny homa wood. Erect a bamboo pole and pile it into a triangle. Smear with poisonous water and blood. Also, rakta argha (རཀྟའི་ཨརྒ༷་, रक्त अर्घ, rakta argha, 血的供品), the essence of medicine, sesame oil, the enemy's food, thorny sour porridge, copper powder, iron powder, stone powder, poisonous water, black beans, large pieces of meat smoked with smoke, and so forth, place these in front.
