The consciousness of the ear appears as a Rakshasa, the consciousness of the nose is a demon, the consciousness of the tongue is a Yaksha, and the consciousness of the body is Zan and Graha. The activities of remembering, thinking, forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures are all their retinues. The ability to benefit and harm is a deity, and the one who does not let go and subdues is called a demon. Yama is the lord of death, and because of his cruelty and foolishness, he is called a Naga. Because he hits the mark and does not let go, he is known as Graha. The basis for arising is the mother goddess, and the one who gives harm is a Yaksha. The division into branches is also because of great cruelty and roughness, hence it is an Asura. Because it appears everywhere, it is a being, and all Asuras transform into human or non-human beings. Those who smell with their minds are Gandharvas, and those who are powerful, wrathful, and violent are Rakshasas. Those who travel in the sky are Dakinis, and those who live on food and thoughts are Pretas. Those who are respected by all are kings, and those who are praised by others are Zan. Those with wrong views and practices are Tirthikas, those who conquer enemies are War Gods, and those who cannot be cured are called incurable. Those with miraculous power are Masangs, fierce and at the peak of power. Those with the illusion of evil deception are Terangs. Other names are inconceivable, and other transformations of transformations and triple transformations are inconceivable. They are divided into the eight classes of lord and retinue, those who obey orders, and those who carry out tasks. The difference between places and supports is also that deities are practiced on cliffs, snow mountains, and stacked buildings, and in beautiful and pleasant houses. The seven are practiced in the north, appearing on rocks, black rocks, and extremely angry places. Nagas are practiced in the ocean, lakes, ponds, and lush forests. Yamas are practiced in the great sky facing south, in triple-layered rocks, and in uncertain directions. Grahas are practiced at the top of confluence points and at the confluence of water flows, and in vast valleys. Mother goddesses are in large forests and cemeteries, and Yakshas are in vast islands and mountains. The differences between deities and other directions are practiced in large new and old monasteries. Zans are practiced on red angry rocks, as mentioned before, at the border between mountains and plains, and on the tops of high buildings. Such other places should be carefully examined with yogic wisdom. The objects of practice that appear externally are horses, mules, goats, sheep, birds, and dogs, vultures, victory banners, and the images of fierce animals at the border, and trees with lush leaves and fruits are all deities.
