Thus, the path of liberation, the three samādhis and the three great powers, the three rituals and the clear visualization of the deity, blessing, empowerment, and the merging of wisdom, offering with outer, inner, and secret mudras, praise, exhortation, recitation, practice, etc., the generation stage is the path of liberation, all are manifestations of the mind, one's own mind is the essence of great training. Hūṃ, the completion stage where all the deities reside: mind is the father, dharma is the mother, the five aggregates are the father, the five elements are the mother, consciousness is the father, the five objects are the mother, the senses are the father, the four times are the mother, the six afflictions are the emanation body, body and dharma are the father, the four extremes are the mother, skillful means are the father, wisdom is the mother, if one knows the nature in this way, then there is no need to protect, no need to practice, one dwells as the self-arisen deity. Self-arisen transformation is the completion stage, self-arisen spontaneous perfection is the Great Perfection. Although the Buddha spoke of countless vehicles with skillful means and great compassion, all are expedient means for beings of middling capacity. All dharmas are complete in the mind, all dharmas are truth without distinction, all is and nothing is. The ultimate Buddha is the dharmakāya, complete in all, yet not knowing its true face. Hoḥ! Saṃsāra and nirvāṇa arise from deluded clinging, there is no difference in true meaning, both are complete in one's own mind. Hoḥ! All clinging to dharmas is elaboration, the dharma of the mind, therefore the three bodies are exhausted in number, one cannot attain Buddhahood with conditioned dharmas. Hoḥ! Clinging to the Buddha as a dharma is the ultimate great delusion, Buddhahood is not attained by dharma, but by the one, that which transcends mind is the Great Perfection. Hoḥ! The expanded and contracted stages are like one's own body, one should proceed with the power of the stages. Samaya is like a crystal ball, its base is held by pure vows. Samādhi is like body and shadow, one should fill experience with samādhi. Instructions are like drinking the wine of song and dance, one should accomplish the meaning with profound instructions. View is like a spear wheel in the sky, the rope and projection are cut by view. Conduct is like raw human flesh, one should abandon attachment with conduct. Union is connected without error, without relying on conceptual thought in words, the meaning of the three bodies is combined into one, complete it in the six-sided continuum, the ultimate true meaning arises from within, like space in space, all abide in emptiness. Hoḥ! Thus, all empowerments are complete, the qualities of empowerment are inconceivable.

Secret mantra attainments arise from empowerment. The sign of attainment is prophesied by the dakinis. As an omen, one holds a wish-fulfilling jewel on the crown of one's head. The sun rises on one's head, making one a military commander. The head and upper body are light and comfortable. One drinks the essence of the vase and eats the essence of food. One is able to control the power of one's own awareness. The fault of not having received empowerment is that, although one accumulates the pride of the three wisdoms, it is fruitless and leads to ruin. Not offering the empowerment fee causes great degeneration. Then, the offering for empowerment is to offer to the lama of blessing empowerment one's kingdom, land, environment, one's own body, children, spouse, and wealth. Thus, it was spoken. From the King of Tantras, the Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra, the eleventh chapter, which is the complete empowerment of secrets. Then again, the assembled retinue, with one voice, supplicated the Teacher, Samantabhadra, the Glorious Great Supreme Heruka: "Kye! Kye! Kye! Great Vow, Samantabhadra! Vajradhara, Lord of all! The meaning of the tantra, the vow, the life of the Dharma! Please grant your command to us, your retinue!" Having understood the meaning of that supplication, the Teacher himself spoke: "Assembled retinue, listen with one-pointed attention! The meaning of the tantra, the vow to be protected, the root is body, speech, and mind, and the branches are twenty-five. Although it is inconceivable to elaborate, the root and branches should not be damaged. Or else, abide in the Great Perfection of Equality. The body's vow is the vajra. Never strike, defile, or slander the master, siblings, or consorts. Do not harbor any evil or contemptuous thoughts. The speech's vow is that, having received empowerment, one should not interrupt the mantras and mudras of the deities of the yidam mandala. One should not abandon the unsurpassed supreme vehicle. The mind's vow is the ten secrets. All places, times, and companions are secret. All the substances and implements of practice are secret. If not secret, one will become a heretic. Medicine, torma, and offering substances are secret. If these are not secret, then accomplishments will decline. The general recitation, the essence of the root, is secret. If not secret, power and blessings will decline. The mantra practitioner's mantra and mudra are secret. If these are not secret, one will become insane. The practice of union and liberation is secret. If these are not secret, one will become a laughingstock to people. All activities and conduct are also secret. If these are not secret, even blood relatives will be cut off. The tantra, sadhana, and instructions are secret. If these are not secret, the dakinis' punishment will come. In short, secrets that should be kept secret are secret. If these are not secret, one will become mute."
