The Bhagavan replied: "In the meditation sequence of the noble hundred families, first generate Bodhicitta, accumulate merit with the seven branches, and thus meditate on the Samadhi of Suchness, meditating on emptiness, selflessness, and non-fabrication. The Samadhi of all-illuminating, meditate on it as all-pervading great compassion. Then, the Samadhi of the cause, visualize your own mind as the letter A. Eastern lower part is the capable one of gods. Southern upper part is the capable one of Asuras. Southern lower part is the capable one of animals. Western is the capable one of pretas. Northern is the capable one of hell-beings. Eastern gate is Vajra Iron Hook Mother. Southern is Vajra Lasso Mother. Western is Vajra Iron Chain Mother. Northern is Vajra Bell Mother. Thus, the hundred deities, their bodies are the Great Mudra, their speech is the Samaya of mantras, their minds are endowed with the Great Mudra. The Mudras of body, speech, and mind are clear. Appearances are without inherent existence, like reflections in a mirror, like moon reflections in water. Thus it is said. This is the fourth chapter, showing the Mandala of Samadhi.
