Pure meaning has no difference, both are perfected in one's own mind. HOḤ! All that is held as Dharma is elaboration, because it is the Dharma of the mind. The three bodies themselves also end in number. One does not attain Buddhahood through conditioned Dharma. HOḤ! Holding the Buddha as Dharma is the ultimate great delusion. Buddhahood is attained by the one that is not Dharma. Dzogchen is beyond the mind. HOḤ! Expansion and contraction, in sequence, are like one's own body. One should proceed through the sequence by empowerment. Samaya is like a crystal ball. The basis is held by pure samaya. Samadhi is like the body and its shadow. Practice is filled with samadhi. Oral instructions are like drinking the wine of dance. The meaning is accomplished through profound oral instructions. View is like a spear whirling in the sky. The line and the width are cut by view. Conduct is like raw human flesh. Faults should be abandoned by conduct. Union has no place for error. Without relying on conceptualization in words, gather the meaning of the three bodies into one. Perfect the six limits in the tantra. The ultimate true meaning arises from within. Space is just like space. Everything abides in emptiness. HOḤ! Thus, all empowerments are fully bestowed. The qualities of the bestowal are inconceivable. The accomplishments of secret mantra arise from empowerment. The signs of attainment are prophesied by the dakinis. As a sign, one holds a wish-fulfilling jewel on the crown of the head. The sun rises on the head, one becomes a general. The head and upper body are light and comfortable. One drinks the essence of the vase and eats the essence of food. One is able to control the power of self-awareness. The faults of not receiving empowerment are that even if one accumulates the pride of the three wisdoms, it is fruitless and causes loss. Not offering the empowerment fee is extremely detrimental. Therefore, the empowerment fee should be offered. To the guru who bestows the blessing of empowerment, offer the kingdom, land, one's own body, children, wife, and wealth. Thus it was spoken. From the King of Tantras, the Glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra, the eleventh chapter, which is the complete secret empowerment. Then, again, the assembled retinue spoke with one voice, requesting the teacher, Samantabhadra, the glorious Great Supreme Heruka: Kye Kye Kye! Great Samaya, Samantabhadra, Vajradhara, Lord of all, the life of the Dharma of the Tantric meaning of Samaya, please bestow your teachings upon us, the retinue. Having understood the meaning of this request, the teacher himself spoke: Listen with one-pointed attention, assembled retinue. The meaning of the Tantra, the Samaya to be protected, is...

The root is body, speech, and mind, with twenty-five branches. If elaborated, it is inconceivable, but the root and branches should not be violated. Or else, abide in the Great Perfection of Co-emergence. The samaya of the body is vajra. Towards the guru, Dharma brothers and sisters, never strike, insult, or slander. Do not harbor ill will or contempt. The samaya of speech, having received empowerment, the mantras and mudras of the yidam mandala deities should not be interrupted. The supreme vehicle should not be abandoned. The samaya of the mind has ten secrets. Keep secret the place, time, and companions. Keep secret all the substances and implements of practice. If not kept secret, one becomes a heretic and a libertine. Keep secret the medicine, torma, and offerings. If these are not kept secret, siddhis will decline. Keep secret the general recitation and the essence of the root. If not kept secret, power and blessings will decline. Keep secret the mantra practitioner's mantras and mudras. If these are not kept secret, one will become insane. Keep secret the practices of union and liberation. If these are not kept secret, one will become a laughingstock to people. Keep secret all activities and conduct. If these are not kept secret, even vows will be broken. Keep secret the tantras, sadhanas, and instructions. If these are not kept secret, dakinis will impose punishment. In short, keep secret what should be kept secret. If these are not kept secret, one will become mute. Keep secret the instructions specifically entrusted to you. If these are not kept secret, great degeneration will occur. The samayas of body, speech, and mind, if violated, for one, two, or three kalpas, one will undoubtedly fall into the Vajra Hell. The five things to be known and the five things to be practiced, the five things not to be abandoned and the five things to be accomplished, the five things to be accepted are the branches. If violated, one will go to the Avici Hell. Furthermore, there are special samayas: respect the guru and do not break his words, do not be distracted from the four sessions of yoga, abandon doubt towards deities and mantras, generate compassion towards all Dharma brothers and sisters, protect all sentient beings with loving-kindness, do not indulge in pride, arrogance, hatred, desire, and jealousy. Unite secret mantra view and practice, bring the generation and completion stages, approach and accomplishment to their conclusion. Abandon laziness, sleep, and intoxication. In the samaya of the true meaning, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are self-aware mind, in the nature of the primordially self-arisen Dharmakaya. That very nature from the beginning, protecting and violating, not protecting is to abandon with wisdom, violating faults has no obtainable fruit, not abandoning does not abide in non-duality, unborn antidote indestructible, the heretical clinging to self is a word, the past of former generations.
