Obeisance to all. Wisdom's illusion, self-manifesting, The supreme, boundless mandala of delight, The essence of the secret bindu itself, This is the reality of all Buddhas. Fully perfected in the ten directions and four times, Body, speech, qualities, activity, and mind, Seeing the face of the complete self-nature, Is the supreme, noble, sovereign lord. Abiding in the mandala is the mandala itself, The perfect mandala spontaneously accomplished, Constantly possessing the complete mandala, From the union of the perfect mandala, The mandala of mind completely arises. Lord of taming the mandala of directions and times, By liberating with the mandala of illusion, Without action, one engages in the mandala. In the mandala of perfect wisdom, Through the union of hearing, contemplation, and meditation, Self-arising, everything is spontaneously accomplished. This is the supreme oath of all Buddhas, Which they do not transgress. Whoever has faith in this, All the mandalas of the Buddhas, In all directions and times, In all ways, through approaching the complete mandala, Will be regarded as a close son. For as many eons as there are dust particles in the fields, Having thoroughly trained and perfectly established, Approaching the complete mandala, This is the fruit, the great secret. In the ten directions of the six realms, All the mandalas of the victorious ones, past and present, By attaining them, the five bodies are spontaneously perfected. All that arises and will arise in the future, Will spontaneously be accomplished through this. This is the great secret, the definite, The fruit that has become the path. In all the mandalas of the victorious ones, There is no secret certainty apart from this. Even if sought, it will not be found by the victorious ones. The supreme great seal of all, Those with eyes of wisdom, who have thoroughly trained in hearing, contemplation, and meditation, will hold it. One who is a worthy vessel, with good and stable conduct, Who gives away body and possessions. Never give it to another. If you give it to the deluded with contempt, Before the right time, life will be exhausted, And you will dwell for a long time in burning and scorching. Thus, it is specially spoken to the Thus-Gone One. With the mandala-possessing mandala, Meditate on the mandala in the mandala, The mandala that arises from the mandala, The mandala of mind, the supreme mandala. The essence of the secret, that very reality is certain, more secret than the meaning.

The Essence of Speech Chapter, the Twenty-fifth Chapter. Then, the Bhagavan, glorious Samantabhadra, in a state of great joy, spoke this verse to specifically explain this secret arising action: Emaho! All without exception, the Supreme Sugatas of the three times, Primordially unborn, pure Bodhicitta, Inseparable in nature, not dividing the beginning and the end, Because of being equal from the beginning, is the ocean of the Victorious Ones. Without coming and going, the three times are complete at once, Because there is no distinction, there is no acceptance or rejection of good and bad. In the very nature of conceptual thought is the nature of wisdom, Without generating conceptual thought, wisdom is inexpressible. The noble ones without self, who have practiced in the past, If a few million should arise, Those manifest Buddhas, noble ones, who are no different from those who arise later than before, Those who have trained their minds with wisdom for eons, How can a few faithful ones be compatible? Those who have not seen their own nature, who have not mastered the stream of consciousness, Sentient beings who seek elsewhere and are deluded, Even if shown, they do not hear; even if pointed out, they do not see. We do not attain Buddhahood by seeking elsewhere. Without separating from that, they do not see the teacher, Desiring to proceed, they cannot reach it. What is the stream of consciousness? Who can recognize it? Surpassing actions, yet acting and abiding, Whoever contemplates in their mind attains enlightenment. Without abandoning, free from all characteristics, because of existence and non-existence, Not abandoning remembrance, not separating the continuum of cyclic existence, Not separating impurities, to the manifest Buddha, Contemplating with the intelligence of the mind, being diligent, Offering and serving, one manifestly attains enlightenment. Holding onto space, it becomes covered by clouds. Without space, who would know? If a cloud arises, it is impossible to cover it. The stream of conceptual thought, in the Buddha, Everything is naturally equally abiding, pure, Without thinking, contemplating while clearly abiding, Because it is inexpressible, it is the arising of various things. The treasure of the arising of all that is selfless and great self, From not obstructing, there is no arising of cause and field, Everything is the nature of mind, but mind cannot be established. Unfabricated, spontaneously present, enlightened from the beginning, Because there is nothing to attain, it is naturally Sugata. Having said this, the Tathagata knows that all the realms of Dharma and wisdom are naturally enlightened. Having known, the great self of suchness.
