Please forgive the four wrathful gatekeepers. Because I do not have the wisdom of self-awareness, please do not unite the four extremes of permanence, annihilation, etc., with the gate mothers. Because of ignorance, I have erred by grasping my own mind as self. Please forgive the four wrathful gatekeeper mothers. Because I do not have the wisdom of self-awareness, I have erred due to delusion by ignorance. Abandoning the yidam deity due to afflictive karma. Criticizing the teacher from the heart due to the power of deception. Disrupting dharma brothers and sisters due to pride and arrogance. Spreading secret mantras to others due to shallowness and boastfulness. Passing the time for offerings due to stinginess. Breaking secret rituals due to the faults of bad friends. Failing to subdue obstacles and demons due to small vows. And so on, with faults such as arrogance, stubbornness, leftover offerings. From the beginningless end of lifetimes, until now, holding this body in this life. Whatever sinful, non-virtuous actions have been done. Please forgive me, you who know the times and are aware of the times. Because you are noble, please accept.
