Wearing a blood-stained hide. The skins of fierce tigers, etc., cover the upper body, wrap around the lower body, and are tied at the waist. Anointed with accumulations of blood, fat, and ashes. Adorned with garlands of skulls and strings of snakes. Mouth open, fangs bared, three eyes wide open. A great fire of the eon blazes on the body. Uttering "Ha ha hum hum phat phat." Raining down showers of weapons in the hands. Destroying the unfortunates, etc. The wrathful one who displays a terrifying form, with a large body and coarse limbs, possessing valor and majesty, is frightening just to behold. There are two types of wrath that arise naturally: the natural wrath of the wisdom deity and the wrath like that of an executioner. The natural wrath of the wisdom deity is endowed with various wrathful appearances, with unwavering intention. The one like an executioner is always devoid of compassion, or without an object of hatred, and whatever is done is full of violence. Wrathful by the power of vows, although there is no wrath in nature, vows to liberate those who act wrongly. In the past, in the presence of the glorious one (referring to the guru or yidam), having promised to slay Rudra, likewise, also as a wrathful one, according to temporary circumstances and times, there is no fixed appearance for that. Wrathful like an emanation, appearing as a wrathful form from a peaceful state, changing forms according to what needs to be tamed, engaging in various actions. Wrathful by the force of transformation, with many postures and gestures, and various playful appearances, showing roughness and agitation with fierce force. If even the wisdom deity is frightened, what need is there to mention those who have degenerated? Making everyone faint and stiff, praised as wrathful from the very beginning. The wrathful aspect with limbs is endowed with the demeanor of the nine dances, with many heads and limbs, each performing actions separately, carrying out activities. Thus, in any of the nine wrathful forms, the body is strong and the limbs are coarse, the teeth and fangs are extremely sharp, the mouth is open and the eyes are wide, the brow is furrowed in anger, the eyebrows and beard blaze like fire, the fingernails and toenails are hooked like iron hooks, the hair and body hair bristle like weapons, adorned with heroic symbols, charnel ground ornaments, etc., and with silk and various jewels, standing proudly in the midst of blazing flames, emanating multiple emanations from the body. There are also five aspects of peace: peace from the beginning and temporary peace, peace for the benefit of those to be tamed, peace through transformation, and peace through transcendence, and that is also

The primordial peaceful one is the expanse of beginningless birth. Compassion illuminates all like the sun's rays. Attachment and afflictions naturally dissolve. Ornaments and attire are not fixed. They abide in a playful manner. Likewise, the temporary peaceful one is adorned with beautiful and pleasing ornaments. With youthful vigor and dignity. Possessing all-encompassing wisdom, eyes of great beauty. For the sake of taming beings, the peaceful one emanates rays of light in ten directions. Wisdom's appearance is shown clearly. Performing deeds to tame each according to their needs. The peaceful one with changing postures. Loving all beings universally. Subduing wrongdoings with the power of loving-kindness. Showing harmony with all near peace. The manifestly sublime peaceful one. Possessing the reins of the four immeasurables. Great compassion is equally extended to all. Without weariness or discouragement. All the attire and ornaments are. Soft and supple silk headbands. Upper garments and lower wraps with rainbow silk patterns. A tall, precious crown on the head. A parasol-topped banner with tassels. Necklaces with earrings and wheel patterns. Bracelets and armlets encircling the hands and feet. With "se mo do" and necklaces. Adorned with various precious jewels. As ornaments for the upper and lower body. Furthermore, rosaries of bone. And various silk streamers are adorned. Supple, slender, peaceful, elegant, twisting, and swaying. Standing, sitting, and with various postures. Abiding in play, such as in the lotus position. The appearance of peaceful and wrathful ones. Not just one, but various forms. With a smiling and fierce appearance. With the magic of peace in wrath. The body is peaceful, but the expression is wrathful. The expression is peaceful, but the attire is wrathful. The attire is peaceful, but the demeanor is wrathful. The expressions of the eyes and face are also. One peaceful, one wrathful, half-peaceful, half-wrathful. With the gleam of teeth hiding fangs. When smiling, the expression of the eyes is wrathful. Smiling with furrowed brows. Seeming peaceful, yet wrathful and fearsome. Seeming fearsome, yet utterly peaceful. Playing with changing forms. All are emanations and further emanations. Thus, peaceful and wrathful ones. And half-peaceful ones, etc., whatever they may be. Ornaments and attire are immeasurable. Some are for taming beings to be tamed. Some are in the form of various playful dances. Some have different ways of entering. Enjoyment, complete and emanation bodies. Certain and uncertain, it is just so. The lineage of the body, speech, and mind of all gurus, yidams, and dakinis.
