Now, being attached to existence is like the heretics' view of permanence. Being attached to what cannot be analyzed is like the heretics' view of annihilation. To avoid both extremes, the wise should not be attached to one side. Whoever is attached to either permanence or annihilation deviates from the essence of things. Those that appear to be analyzable are the attachment of inner awareness to the various appearances of external objects. That itself is said to be unanalyzable. If what appears in memory is analyzable, it is unanalyzable because there is no memory. Those that appear to be unanalyzable are the mind looking at the mind. Knowing that the nature of mind is unborn. Because there is neither analyzable nor unanalyzable, that itself is beyond thought, abiding in the great bliss of union. Realizing the indivisible, free from the object of analysis. The mind of existence and non-existence does not abide. Appearance and emptiness are equal, free from the object of analysis. Without grasping, how can there be something to be grasped? Many are of one taste, all are of the nature, all forms are complete, abiding in emptiness. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Elephant King's Subjugation, the sixteenth chapter on the basis of reasoning, analyzable and unanalyzable. Then, the Bhagavan entered into the samadhi of utterly destroying the power of Mara, and for this purpose, he spoke of the meaning of the unattached lotus. With the lamp of the teacher blazing, overcoming the heretics and Mara with wrong views. The yogi's mind is clear light, how to determine as desired? To determine by one, samsara, nirvana, and bodhicitta are one. All should realize the nature of mind, and will know the root of Dharma. If you want to determine by two, the dharmas of samsara and nirvana, realize them with direct perception and inference. Samsara transcends direct perception and inference. Relying on the smoke of direct perception, inferring the fire itself by inference. Destroying the opponents from the characteristic cause. The teacher's sacred Dharma is twofold, the nature of scripture and realization. Direct perception is scripture, inference is realization. Destroying the opponents with the mantra of the result. With the visible basis, realizing the unseen. If you want to realize all dharmas with three, the Sugata's teachings are valid, the guru's instructions are valid, your own awareness is valid, faith arises, and the realization of understanding the meaning appears. What is determined by four? The appearance from the teachings of the scriptures, and not contradicting the meaning to be taught,

For wisdom, it is appropriate, Adorned with various reasonings. It is to ascertain the Dharma of the scriptures, With the unparalleled sound of the fourfold cycle. What is shown as the accomplishment of the result, Is that it can appear as anything, Because it can appear as anything, it can accomplish anything, Because it can accomplish anything, anything can be accomplished. Ascertaining the Dharmas with the five, The ground itself abides upon the subject, Having made a commitment upon what is promised, Ascertaining with various reasonings. Symbolizing with symbolic examples, The meaning of the established tenets is completed. Ascertaining samsara and nirvana with the six, Everything appears from the ground, Everything arises from the cause, Through the condition, everything is produced, Existing in accordance with karma, Using the habitual tendencies, etc., If examined, it cannot be found, dissolving into emptiness. Thus, it should be attained for all. Not realizing the meaning of the ground, samsara appears, Arising from the cause of ignorance, Produced by the condition of karma and afflictions, The three poisons and three realms appear in harmony, Using the apprehended and apprehender, consciousness appears. If examined, it cannot be found, dissolving into the nature of reality. Completely ascertaining samsara, The three realms, three thousands, and three existences are clear. Realizing the meaning of the ground is nirvana. The two accumulations arise from the cause, Produced by the condition of view, meditation, and conduct, The form body and wisdom appear in harmony, Using the compassion of body, speech, and mind, engaging in the benefit of beings. If examined, the result dissolves into the Dharmakaya. The Buddhas of the ten directions and three times, Completely realize everything without exception. Samsara and nirvana are inseparable, appearing from the ground, Everything arises from the cause of mind, Produced by the condition of awareness and ignorance, The two accumulations of virtue and non-virtue exist in harmony, The habitual tendencies of samsara and nirvana use the meaning, If examined, the nature of reality dissolves into the Dharmakaya. Everything inseparable is gathered into one. Thus, the reasoning of ascertainment is, The conventional appearance is the Dharma of samsara, The ultimate appearance is nirvana. The conventional and ultimate are inseparable as one, Inseparability is merely clinging, devoid of objects. Thus it is said. From the "Galloping Elephant Tantra," the seventeenth chapter, which ascertains all Dharmas. Then the great self-nature of all Buddhas spoke this self-appearing great self-nature. Object and means and result and, Basis, characteristic, and possessing characteristic result, The characteristic of wisdom is the cause of view.
