In the midst of the expanse of rapture and union, Reside the wrathful deities, male and female. The body can transform into any form, The hair is brownish-black and matted. Coiled upwards, it blazes at the peak of existence. The uneven, wrathful, frowning, hateful eyes, Are a sign of subduing wrong views. The tightly clenched, sharp teeth, Are the manner of severing the root of the four births. The blessings of compassion are dense like clouds, The rays of loving-kindness flash like lightning. Emanations descend like showers, The great commitment of the past is, Showing great terror to the demons, Making great jokes to the obstacles, Granting attainments to those who keep their vows. Coiled and adorned, in the coiling, of the mind, of the mind. Sentient beings with Dharma, the body is not seen, It is a union beyond sound, It is wisdom free from thought. Then, when performing the work of liberation, Having summoned liberation (Sanskrit: Moksha) to the front, Then the vidyadhara speaks these words: "These sentient beings bound by the cycle of afflictions, Are not vessels to be tamed by the teachings, Because of non-attachment, their sins are great, Only killing is what should be done." The five elements of the body, Are offered into the mouths of the five blood-drinkers. The imprints of the mind and the ten non-virtues, Are offered to the ten great wrathful ones. The objects that have been dismembered, Are offered to the eight charnel ground mothers. The three, flesh, blood, and bones, Are offered to the assembly of those with claws, those with beaks, and those with fangs. The three, manifestation, body, speech, and mind, Become the body, speech, and mind of great bliss. For that which is inherently so, It is like the lord of the torma taking possession. Thus, for the sake of liberating the realms of sentient beings, By the lord of the charnel ground, The Heruka (Tibetan: ཧེ་རུ་ཀ།) who fills the world, Extends three heads, six arms, and four legs. The three heads and three hairs are the lords of the three existences, The nine eyes know how to subdue the nine grounds. The three noses bestow the emanations of the three bodies, The three faces arise the three poisons in space. The four teeth sever the four births from the root, The six arms extract the six realms from the depths, The four legs liberate with the four actions. When liberating with the commitment itself, What unaccomplished urging is needed?
