祈请加持庇护！之后，对于聚集所有天神的魔众，施予威慑并立下誓言，各自取其心髓。所有眷属都与君主分离，八大天神安住于各自的顶端。四大天王安住于东方的大洲。夜叉和护方神安住于东方的两个小洲。六道众生安住于南方。乾闼婆和母神们安住于南方的小洲。阿修罗安住于西方。阎罗、善面者和罗刹安住于西方的两个小洲。星宿和行星安住于北方。 这是从所有如来密意无上之法中，示现魔之化身。之后，魔王极其欢喜，告诫所有眷属：安住于一个国王的眷属之中，以随心所欲的行为而安住。你们也要听从我所告诫的命令，断绝解脱之道，不要尊敬其他导师，否则我的世界将会毁灭。这些没有广大心量的众生，是愚痴的自性，如同旁生一般，因此没有获得安乐之处的意义。又以偈颂说道：可悲啊，没有意识的众生！舍弃自己的安乐，追求其他的解脱之道，这些人因迷惑而毁灭了自己的相续，舍弃正念和安乐，愚昧的众生真是可怜。暂时因具足慈悲的缘分，聚集在我的眷属之中。想要获得其他更高的地位，就请对我生起信心和恭敬吧！他们也如是听从，各自失去了自己的位置，生起忧伤之心，却也无可奈何，就这样安住着。之后，魔王回到自己的住所，与眷属们一起享受着喜悦的受用，沉溺于欢快的歌舞和音乐之中。我就是三界一切的主宰，除此之外，还有什么比这更值得成就的呢？

Grant blessings and protection! Then, to the hordes of demons who gather all the gods, he gave threats and established vows, taking the essence of each. All the retinues were separated from their lords, and the eight great gods resided on their respective tops. The four great kings resided on the eastern continent. Yakshas and guardians of the directions resided on the two eastern subcontinents. Sentient beings of the six realms resided in the south. Gandharvas and Matrikas resided on the southern subcontinent. Asuras resided in the west. Yama, Good-faced Ones, and Rakshasas resided on the two subcontinents of the western continent. Planets and stars resided in the north. This is the manifestation of the demon's emanation from the secret, unsurpassed mind of all the Tathagatas. Then, the King of Demons was extremely pleased and instructed all his retinue: "By residing in the retinue of one king, one dwells by acting according to one's wishes. You too, listen to the commands I instruct, sever this path of liberation, and do not respect other teachers, or my world will be destroyed. These beings without great minds are of a nature of ignorance, like animals, so there is no point in obtaining a state of well-being." Again, he spoke in verses: "Alas, beings without awareness! Abandoning their own happiness, pursuing other paths of liberation, these ones ruin their own lineage through delusion. Abandoning well-being through wrong views, ignorant beings are truly pitiable. For now, through the fortune of having compassion, they have gathered in my retinue. Desiring to attain other higher states, please generate faith and respect for me!" They also listened in this way, each losing their own place, and though a mind of sorrow arose, there was no way to do anything about it, so they remained and resided in that way. Then, the King of Demons went to his own abode, and together with his retinue, they enjoyed the pleasures of joy, indulging in delightful songs, dances, and music. "Since I am the master of all three realms, what is there to accomplish beyond this?"

I have never seen such a sight! Now, how should I devise a way to bring the retinues of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas under my control? Let me also consult my own retinue. Then, proclaim to all the demon cities: To the retinues of the Buddhas, propagate all inauspicious omens and evil omens of various illusions, and if you wish to accomplish any desires, you should have faith in us. Afterwards, when those leaders gather into my retinue, they should be subdued through various means. If they are unable to come, I shall destroy their own abodes. Having said this, he conjured up the wrathful weapons of the assembly that could shake the three thousand worlds, annihilated all beings who delight in the white caste, and prepared to destroy the Bodhisattvas dwelling on the earth, but the power of truth was not harmed in the least. Then, he became enraged and said: For me, I should simultaneously subdue all actions of these three realms, can I not subdue these wicked and deceitful fellows? He commanded all his subordinates to subdue those who abide on the path of liberation by various means. Then, he commanded Brahma and others, and they also spread their own illusions and weapons in all directions, and recited their own fierce mantras. This caused the world to shake and tremble, and everything became chaotic.
