At that time, the assemblies of great powerful beings in the world displayed their respective magical powers and said, "What kind of arrogant one are you? Each of us is a great king who rules over countless retinues, controls countless lands, and is a sacred place of reliance for others. It is better for you to remain in peace." When they said this in unison, the King of Demons also swelled with extreme affliction and said to the others: "All these worlds, including the gods, are governed by my command. All beings, without exception, must listen to the secret commands of the king. Lord of the three realms, god of gods, the land above all lands. No one can match my power and magical abilities. If anyone transgresses my command, their life and existence will be destroyed, and their dwelling will also be scattered." So he spoke. Then, the King Brahma gathered his immeasurable retinue, and from among them, dwelling in wrath, assumed the form of a great Rakshasa, and from his own power emanated wrathful ones and a collection of weapons. Similarly, Vishnu, Maheshvara, Indra, Ganapati, Bhringi-riti, and the six-faced youth also gathered their respective immeasurable retinues, standing proudly in their midst, displaying inconceivable emanations, and demonstrating power and magical abilities. The Four Great Kings residing at the foot of Mount Sumeru also stood proudly in the midst of their respective retinues, demonstrating power and magical abilities. The guardians of the directions residing on the golden mountain, Indra, Ishana, Yama, Varuna, the water deity, the Yaksha, the sun deity, and the earth deities, also stood arrayed with their respective abodes and terrifying weapons.

The sun and the moon, Mars and Jupiter, Venus and Saturn, and all the great planets, together with their respective retinues, are arrayed with fearsome wrathful deities and weapons. The Boundless One, the Holder, the Source of Power, the Possessor of Lineage, the Increase of Wealth, the Conch Guardian, the Lotus One, and the Water Gods, together with their respective attendants, are arrayed with fearsome emanations. Likewise, the yakshas, gandharvas, kumbhandas, the chief powerful and mighty beings of the six realms, who dwell as the arrogant hosts of the three realms, and the matrikas, Yama, the asuras, garudas, rakshasas, and all beings including the constellations, also each in the center of their retinue's mandala, emanate and are arrayed with fearsome forms, weapons, and roars. Then, the King of Demons also arose with afflictions, gathered his retinue, and displayed all his magical powers at this very moment, manifesting as a fiercely blazing terrifying form from a palace blazing with various weapons. He was sporting with the wrathful mother hosts. The retinue of beings, with weapons and flames, spread in the ten directions, filling the entire sky, thereby generating hail, disease, and dust storms. This caused all the worldly gods to become intoxicated and bewildered. The terrifying hosts surging from all directions, slaying and cutting with weapons blazing with flames, each of their retinues became terrified, offered their heart essence and begged for refuge. Then, in order to gather all the gods, oaths were sworn and vows were given to those demonic hosts, their heart essences were seized, all the retinue of beings were separated from their lords, and the eight great gods were established on their own tops. The four great kings were established on the eastern continent. The yakshas and the guardians of the directions were established on the two subcontinents of the east. The sentient beings of the six realms were established in the south. The gandharvas and matrikas were established on the southern subcontinent. The asuras were established in the west. Yama, the garudas, and the rakshasas were established on the two subcontinents of the western continent.
