Like that. Again, the retinue of Gochay asked: The mind of samsara has no basis. If there is something to realize in it, the sky is originally empty. Beyond that, two emptinesses cannot be found. Therefore, whatever the Buddhas realize appears. The retinue of Lhanchikpa said: For example, the eye sees other things, but it does not see the dust in the eye. Like looking into a mirror and removing dust, because one's own mind does not know itself, look into the mirror of the realm of Dharma. Manifest the unborn, free from elaboration. The duality of object and mind dissolves into the realm. Free from ignorance, wrong views, and faults. The sun of wisdom and knowledge rises. Ignorance itself is liberated into knowledge. Touch, the expanse of the universe, also expands. The mandala of the sun has no east or west. The great wish-fulfilling tree grows completely. The wish-fulfilling offering tree blazes in all ways. The auspicious vase is full of bliss. By understanding what was not understood, darkness is cleared away. The great bindu transcends words. The hero, the basis of all five seeds. The hundred peaceful and wrathful deities complete samsara and nirvana. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Elephant King's Absorption: Establishing samsara and nirvana through the way of abiding and the way of appearing, the eleventh chapter. Then, the Bhagavan, the supreme and venerable lord of all the Buddhas, spoke this for the sake of guiding the beings: The spontaneously accomplished, primordial purity, the basis of the nature of mind, the seed-like nature from which all of samsara and nirvana arise, pervading all, naturally abiding from the beginning, but not realized, not manifested. Bodhisattvas are obscured by the obscuration of knowledge. Beings are obscured by the obscuration of afflictions and karma. Those who enter the path are obscured by their own views. Those who have not seen but wish to see, look at their own mind. The inconceivable intention of the vast teachings is gathered into the root, awareness, the mind of enlightenment. Shravakas see suffering and its origin as samsara. Cessation and the path are accomplished as nirvana. Pratyekabuddhas see dependent origination arising in samsara. Reversing from arising is joined to nirvana. Bodhisattvas see the conventional truth as the dharma of samsara. They see the ultimate truth as the field of activity of nirvana. Kriya, oneself, the three families are all conventional subjects. Wisdom heroes are like lords in the ultimate truth. Holding to the two aspects is the body of the four conventional families. The wisdom deity of the ultimate truth is the self-appearing form. Yogis, the conventional deity is one's own body.

The ultimate Vajra realm is the brothers and sisters in Dharma. The Maha Longku assembly of thoughts, the deities of the two truths. The Anu realm and wisdom, the deities of the two truths. The eight vehicles' appearance is seen as samsara and nirvana. The Dzogchen state is the meaning of the great bindu. Perfectly peaceful, free from elaboration, completely free from grasping and being grasped. Thus it was said. Then, the assembly of Gochö asked the assembly of Lhanchik: "What is the meaning of the ground in Kadak? Is ignorance and delusion established or not?" The heroes and heroines replied: "Ignorance and delusion are not established on the ground, as it is pure from the beginning. Just as there is no yellow in a conch shell, it appears yellow like someone with an eye disease." The Vajra brothers asked again: "Beings can be liberated effortlessly because the ground is pure without delusion. If it is a sudden yellowing of the eyes, will delusion also arise in the pure continuum? The definition of the ground is not reasonable, because the dharmas of samsara and nirvana do not arise. The corresponding cause will also not be established. Is there a basis for delusion in the conch shell or not? If there is, then the ground is deluded. It is impossible for delusion to exist without a ground, just as it is impossible to mistake a conch shell for a snake." The heroes and heroines said again: "If you know that it is pure without delusion, then there is no object of delusion on it. Just as gold is recognized as gold." The Vajra brothers asked again: "If samsara and nirvana are spontaneously accomplished on the ground, is one side established or is no side established? If one side is established, then the two are not complete. If it is not established, then half of the definition of the ground is missing. If it becomes established without a side, then the subject and predicate will be inconsistent and there will be internal contradiction. If you accept it, then the sense consciousness is clearly manifest. If you think it is not clear, then how does it appear? Then it will become without a side." The heroes and heroines replied: "Without a side, everything is self-arisen and other. However it is viewed, it appears there. Therefore, recognize the spontaneously accomplished ground without delusion. The meaning of the ground is without error, expressed in terms. Samsara and nirvana are the nature of one's own mind, existing primordially like a sesame pod. The two are gathered without being mixed, completely perfect and spontaneously accomplished." The Vajra brothers asked again: "Is ignorance and delusion established or not?" The heroes and heroines replied: "The ground that appears as the essence of everything appears like a wish-fulfilling jewel. Therefore, there is no choice of whether it is established or not. The arising of the appearance of samsara and nirvana is distinguished by delusion, so it is called the object of investigation."
