Great Tantra. This tantra is spoken and unspoken in the world realm. What is the reason for that? Because it is the root of all Dharmas, it is spoken. For example, like the milk of a lion, not everyone can bear it, and only a few qualified people can bear it. Like that kind of meaning, the root Torma is rare and precious, it is a benefit of immeasurable value. It is also rare for this tantra to appear, it is an example that will not disappear. After saying that, Vajrasattva, in order to inherit this tantra and become a vessel, offered the wealth and enjoyment of gods and humans to Samantabhadra. From the Great Torma Tantra, the thirty-eighth chapter on explaining the benefits of the tantra is completed. Then Vajrasattva, after hearing the teachings of Samantabhadra, saw that beings were very attached and lazy, in order to make beings become pure vessels, in order to hear this tantra, in order to make the oral instructions thorough, in order to make the lineage never disappear, in order to make the fruits of what has been done not be wasted but surely accomplished, he uttered this sound to all beings: In the unchanging Dharmadhatu, whatever is desired. All are sons of the Victorious One. As the Victorious One has said. Excellent sons, listen. For the sake of liberation from Samsara. Parents, siblings, brothers and sisters, etc. Oneself, kingdom, children and friends. Offer as slaves to the Guru. At that time, if the Guru does not allow. Then redeem it with the price of what things. If one can hear this great tantra. Immediately Samsara has no suffering. For the sake of being without attachment. Gold, silver, etc., five precious things. Silk and other things are also like that. Elephants, horses and all livestock. Silk and satin, all kinds of clothes. Food and other offerings. Make the teacher happy and offer everything. Ask for teachings and make requests according to the Dharma. Request and obtain permission to accomplish. Immediately become a Buddha without sentient beings. For the sake of being without dwelling. For the sake of being without death. Houses, fields and places. Servants, relatives and all others. Give with faith to the object of focus. Request and obtain permission to accomplish. The great lineage dwells in that place. Immediately Samsara has no suffering. Even if those things are all absent.

Having forsaken land and life, striving diligently with effort, exerting oneself without deceit. If one can remember the bestowed teachings and reverence, one can hear the teachings of the Tathāgata (梵文:Tathāgata,梵文罗马拟音:Tathāgata,汉语字面意思:Thus Gone), as well as the tantras, scriptures, and oral instructions, as desired. Seeing the rituals of this Torma lineage, and hearing the Mahayana Dharma, one can realize the truth of Nirvana (梵文:Nirvana,梵文罗马拟音:Nirvana,汉语字面意思:Cessation), and will not be abandoned by Samantabhadra. Some do not do this, and do not understand Torma with attachment, always thinking with clinging minds, using false means that do not accord with the scriptures. What need is there to speak of tantras, scriptures, and oral instructions? They cannot even see a ray of sunlight-like Dharma. At that time, they will associate with the three lower realms, unable to awaken there due to attachment. These places, such as villages and so on, are all sacred places of generous giving. At that time, even giving will not separate, but will accompany. Moreover, there are countless merits. Some do not understand how to let go of attachment, at that time, even if they grasp, they cannot accompany. What is grasped is like a poor person losing a treasure, going nowhere without companions, without benefit, only regret. Ignorance is the only child, how pitiful. Without Dharma, it is like a drought, scorching or withering. If not moistened by the rain of Bodhi, both cause and effect will wither, there will be no sprout of Bodhi and no fruit. Born in the lower realms, it is unbearable. Some, hearing the Mahayana Dharma, guide with selfless devotion, cultivating the field of realizing appearances, planting the seeds of the Bodhi path, with the great rain of nectar of oral instructions, ripening the fruit of wisdom activity. In the nature of the root Torma, there is not a single one who has not attained Buddhahood. May all beings abiding in the boundless realms, realize this all that is heard, and attain liberation! Thus proclaiming, all that arises later is blessed to be suitable vessels for Torma. When limitless beings hear this sound, may they be free from attachment and become suitable vessels for tantras, scriptures, and oral instructions. In the Great Torma Lineage, in order to make one a vessel for oral instructions, the chapter on offering is the thirty-ninth. Then, for the benefit of the Yogis, the food Torma is specifically spoken of. Those who possess the Yoga scriptures, through mudras and mantras, from the excellence of the assembly of offerings, should bestow the food Torma of intention. Regarding this,
