In the [text], it says, "The main achiever is the one with samadhi. Through this samadhi, it will be accomplished." And in the same [text], it says, "If the mantra and mudra are very firm, then great and wondrous accomplishments will occur." Ninth, establishing in a place through offerings, has six parts. First, the purpose: to eliminate obstacles from others, purify obscurations, fulfill deficiencies, and because pleasing the deities fulfills the accumulation [of merit and wisdom], and to accomplish the purposes of oneself and others, and attainments. As it says in the Thugs Thig, "Accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others, pleasing and fulfilling." And as it says in the Khog Zhung, "Offerings are made to complete the two accumulations." Second, the essence: to honor and make offerings with the three doors to any place worthy of respect, and also to please with substances. As it says in the Thugs Thig, "Because the agent, action, and object are present, it is the very thing that causes joy and satisfaction." Third, the meaning of the word: The word "Puja" means offering, because it precedes all virtuous actions, it is the meaning of generating, and repeatedly generating joy, and because of the meaning of respect, it is offering to establish in a place. As it says in the Khog Zhung, "Offerings are made to establish in a place." Fourth, types: divided into the field that is the object of focus, complete dedication, becoming the cause of obtaining fruit, and the distinctions of objects. The first three are: successively, the superior offering, the offering dedicated for the sake of enlightenment, and the offering that becomes the cause of liberation, these are transcendent, and others are mundane. Fourth, distinctions of objects: In general, the offerings that please the Buddhas are teaching the sacred Dharma and meditation, etc., these are transcendent, and the five objects of desire, etc., are mundane. Or, meditation without conceptualization, and with distinctions other than that, divided into ultimate and conventional, or common outer offerings and special inner offerings, which are unsurpassed offerings, and secret, wonderful, unsurpassed offerings, and also samadhi, the union of skillful means and liberation, and material offerings, etc., although there are many categories, in this tantric text, there are only the mudra offering, the three poisons offering, the superior samadhi offering, the song of wisdom offering, and the Khog Zhung.

Furthermore, offering empowerment with Samadhi-embracing commitment substances, as well as desirable offerings, songs, clouds of mind, musical instruments, and so on, to bestow power. Although only these are mentioned, without specifying the exact number, in the practice method, it is supplemented by the explanatory tantras and the supplementary tantras, stating that both peaceful and wrathful deities have thirteen or fourteen offerings each. When explaining these, there are actual types, as well as differences in the methods of offering considering the intention, and the time when it is performed, and incidentally explaining the Tsogkhorlo. First, there is empowerment and offering. First, from emptiness, meditate on oneself as the form of the Karma deity to empower. In the Samadhi of the Four Seals, generate the Karma Sattva from the syllable "Hūṃ" (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:吽). Then, perform the empowerment. So it is said. Among these, there are two types: common and special. The common one is the five outer offerings. From the heart, emanate and absorb the respective seed syllables, and through the combination of emanation and absorption, and reciting mantras, offer the offering goddesses holding offering substances throughout the sky. The special offerings are the three: medicine, Torma, and Rakta. The medicine container is a palace. In the palace with a center and four petals, arrange the five meats and five amritas with five pairs of seed syllables such as "Hūṃ" (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:吽), "Mūṃ" (藏文:མཱུཾ,梵文天城體:मुं,梵文羅馬擬音:muṃ,漢語字面意思:穆), etc. Through the three rituals, generate the five Buddha families as fathers and mothers. Afterwards, through the union of attachment, dissolve both the support and the supported, and in the Kapala container, for the essence of wisdom nectar, visualize "Oṃ" (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城體:ओं,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,漢語字面意思:嗡), and for the covering crossed Vajra, generate the four secret consorts of Hayagriva. Touching the nectar with the thumb and forefinger holding the Vajra, recite the Amrita mantra, and through the rays of light of "Oṃ" (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城體:ओं,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,漢語字面意思:嗡), invoke the nectar of Samsara and Nirvana, and contemplate that it has the same taste as the commitment nectar. As stated in the Four Seals Sutra: "With thumb and forefinger like the sun and moon, hold the mantra of invocation one hundred and eight times, recite and invoke the nectar in the sky." Finally, stir to the left with the Vajra, and by uttering "Hūṃ" (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:吽), dissolve the four consorts into the nectar. This is the intention of the practice method composed by Je Tsongkhapa. Elsewhere, it is said that the four consorts of Hayagriva play simultaneously, collecting the nectar, and the fathers and mothers dissolve, and in the Sixty Verses it says: "If Torma is made from a yogi, then conceptual obscurations and impairments are purified. If Torma is made on offering substances, then all become nectar. If Torma is made on unfavorable sides,"
