As it is said, "Fierce and violent ones also perish," the three, cleansing, offering cake, are also done, but they are only branches of elaboration. The offering cake is: In a skull cup, fill it with the essence of the offering cake, all the qualities of desire, and write Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), then scatter and gather it. Recite the mantra seven times, with the first six times generating six desire goddesses from each one, and the seventh time transforming each of them into countless ones, spreading them throughout the sky. The blood offering is: In a red conch shell, write the letter Ra on the essence of the blood offering, then scatter and gather it, and visualize it as a sea of blood with surging waves. These are also from the Garland of Importance: "The yogi who strives in practice, for the sake of accomplishing the fruit of offering, with secret mantra and mudra, blesses the nectar as a goddess." So on. Second, by whom, to whom, and how to offer. First is: From the main deity of the mandala, like one lamp splitting into two, it is certain that the form of Karma Vajrasattva emerges in the east. Second is: To all the deities of the mandala who are inseparable from Samaya and Jnana. Third, of the two offerings, peaceful and wrathful, first, what to offer is fourteen: The summary is: Reverence, prostration, mudra, dance, Samantabhadra, foot washing, four, nectar, offering cake, secret addition, remainder, samadhi, liberation, and union, desire, musical instruments, song, wisdom. How to offer these, there are fourteen steps. First is prostration: To meet the object of worship and the worshiper without separation is the meaning of prostration. Merely as a symbol, remembering the qualities of the deities, worshiping with devotion is prostration. The Garland of Importance says: "For the sake of realizing the meaning of non-duality between deity and self, like oil merging into oil, prostrate with non-dual wisdom." So on. Finally, recite "Ati Puho (Tibetan: ཨ་ཏི་པུ་ཧོ།)" to worship, and the deities respond with "Prati Puho (Tibetan: པྲ་ཏི་པུ་ཧོ།)," one should visualize it like that. Here, in the practice method composed by Je Tsongkhapa, prostration and offering are visualized separately, and it is considered that there are thirteen offerings. Among the thirteen, the first is the mudra offering: The three doors do not move from the body, speech, and mind of the deities, and they grow steadily, which will be explained below. The second is: After being urged by the words of the Sugata, offer the mantra, all dharmas are the self-manifestation of awareness, equal.
