Pacification. On the fire altar of the four activities, whether built or drawn, pile up firewood. Cover with cloth that matches the color of the flame. Arrange the offering torma and the substances for burning. Insert the linga into the pit of the four activities, and surround the opening with their respective pegs. Second, cast out one-third outwards, and after entering inwards, face the direction of the activity being performed, such as facing east for pacification. In terms of posture, pacification adopts the vajra posture, increase adopts the equal posture, subjugation adopts the lotus posture, and wrathful adopts the turtle posture. Then perform confession, vows, empowerment, and offering blessings. After that, place the substances for burning in the sun and moon gau, add five grains, and add melted nectar. Bless the activity torma with three or five grains, making it capable of accomplishing any activity. Second part, the ritual of combining activities, including summoning and returning the linga, and the process of the fire offering. First, the small commentary says: Pacification and increase are the assembly of pacification, while subjugation and wrathful are the mandala of wrath. Or, the above masters believe that whether pacification or wrathful, performing them in turn can accomplish all four activities. Correct the ritual of the activity being performed, and stimulate the recitation that corresponds to the activity. Second, the final assembly, placing the linga in the pit for summoning and returning. Torma fragments, the placement of pegs, blessing weapons, cutting with a knife, mixing with the substances for burning and placing them. Third part, the fire deity and the burning deity. First, ignite the flame, generate the fire deity of the four activities being performed. Invite, offer the substances for burning, pour, offer, and engage in the activity. The necessity is that, for example, food causes the elements of the body to increase, therefore, relying on this, the senses and consciousness will also increase. Similarly, by satisfying the fire deity through fire, the deities of the mandala are satisfied through the fire deity. Here, the fire deity is called the face of fire, as it is said: The fire deity who has become the face, with delicious food offerings, perfectly bestows the offerings of the four activities. Second, according to the views of the respective tantras, there are four examinations: Manifest the fire deity as a burning image, invite the deities there and make offerings, and the direction of generating the samaya being and inviting. Some say that the fire deity is located in the southeast corner, existing in the form of Ishvara.

If generating the Samaya Being in the center of the fire, and also generating it in the belly of the fire deity, here it is the latter method. That is, whichever of the four actions it may be, generate the fire deity as the support and supported, and perform empowerment, blessing, bringing down, summoning, subduing, and offering outer and inner offerings such as Samantabhadra. Add the tail syllable of the action to the root mantra, offer nectar and burnt offerings, praise and pray for desired aims. In this way, first offer to the peaceful deity assembly, then transfer the location to the wrathful mandala and make offerings. Eleventh, the remaining action is: collect the remaining Tsok offerings and burnt offerings, and at the end of any kind of increase, decrease, expansion, or contraction, with "In the past, the Great Glorious Heruka," etc., make the activity unconfused and the Samaya firm. Then, propitiate the Tenma goddesses, replenish deficiencies, the fire deity and the fire deity depart to the wisdom (aspect), the Samaya Being is absorbed into oneself, the traces of the activity are made invisible, and dedication and auspicious words are spoken. So, when and when are these done? At the time of the earth ritual, if the land is bad, then a peaceful (homa) is performed; at the time of consecration, an increasing (homa) is performed; before empowerment, a magnetizing (homa) is performed; on the night of student preparation, if one dreams of bad omens, then a wrathful (homa) is performed. As it is said in the Vajra Sequence: "The two, earth and consecration, and the time of giving bliss." And, it is also permissible to do it at other appropriate times such as offering confession, because it is said in the Thug Thig: "The occasion is when empowerment and practice, offering confession, life, and when the time is ripe." Second, the inner burnt offering has three aspects. The root text says: "Within the Samadhi, remainder, enjoyment." First, regarding Samadhi, it says: "The first two are the central channel." Therefore, there are two types: the Wisdom Homa and the Samadhi Homa. The first is: burning the habits of non-existence with the fire of wisdom that realizes selflessness, giving the wisdom that realizes the two-in-one of Samsara and Nirvana. As it says in the expanded version: "It is the fire that burns the three realms, the wisdom of the mind blazes into fire." The second is: burning the objects of experience, the substances of conceptualization, with the fire of the Samadhi of the signless Suchness, as it says in that (text): "In the mandala of the harmony of the senses, having gathered all the objects of experience, they dissolve into a single, clear light." Second is: without thinking.
