To generate. Sixth, the necessity is: The wonderful method of liberation from the lower realms. Because those to be liberated are certain to go to the lower realms due to the results of bad karma, and in order to easily liberate those who dwell there, this is a supreme and wonderful method. As stated in the "Clear Light Sutra": May the practice of Bodhi increase, may sentient beings be happy, may the gods be pleased, may my vows be fulfilled, may bad karma, obstacles, and suffering be short-lived, and from the lower realms that I have not accumulated, there is no other path to happiness than this. It is said. If there is a fault of not liberating, it is also said in "The Destroyer": When these are not liberated, the darkness of wrong views increases, and the teachings of the Sugata decline. It is said. Third, establishing the practice of union and liberation as something to be practiced, consists of the actual practice, and refuting arguments against it. First, the activity of union and liberation, which is to be practiced, is such that even when practiced, it is not tainted by faults at the time of practice, because it relies on the wisdom of realization and familiarity, and in reality, nothing even as small as a particle has been done. If that is not established, then nothing even as small as a particle has been done, because all phenomena are primordially pure and of the nature of illusion, and here it is manifested, so it is practiced without attachment. For example, it is like an illusory person performing the actions of union and liberation on a person with impaired vision. Thus, it is also said: Primordially unborn, such is its nature, appearing as illusion, like impaired vision, although all actions of union and liberation are performed, nothing even as small as a particle has been done. And in the "Extensive Wisdom Sutra" it is also said: Just as a magician, performing virtuous and non-virtuous deeds on his own illusory creations, is not tainted by any fault, so the skillful in means acts in various ways. It is said. Second, some say: The two, union and liberation, should not be practiced, because they bind one to samsara and cause one to fall into the lower realms. The ripening result of union leads to birth in the hell of rotting corpses and as worms in the womb of the same kind; the ripening result of liberation leads to rebirth in पुनर्जन्म (藏文:ཡང་སོས་,梵文天城体:पुनर्जन्म,梵文罗马拟音:punarjanma,汉语字面意思:rebirth) and as karmic rakshasas of the same kind. If this is said, then it is not the case that they should not be practiced at all times and in all places, or that they should not be practiced at certain times, because they cause one to fall into samsara. If according to the first statement, then the skillful means of a Bodhisattva transforming into a hunter and a prostitute should also be included there. Because, as stated in the "Clear Light Sutra":

As it says, "If one is bound by worldly conduct, even a Bodhisattva with the power of taming will fall if they display hunting and prostitution." If a Bodhisattva engages in such activities for the benefit of others, what is the contradiction if they do not fall? If you say that pervasiveness is not established, then the vow that everything should not be done by everyone is broken. According to the second case, if one uses killing or allows its use ordinarily without being grasped by skillful means, then such a result will indeed occur, but what is the contradiction here since it is grasped by skillful means? As the former says, "To act with greed is not the reason, but it is said that all beings who abide on the path of great skillful means should do it." In short, no matter how one acts, if there is no attachment, one will not be stained by karma. This is the common seal of the Victorious One's teachings. As the Root of the Vinaya Sutra says, "A dream is like nothing, and its result is as if it were not done." And as the Compendium says, "Even if most beings cut off countless heads, if they know that all beings are like illusions, they have no fear." Generally, union and liberation are taught in five parts, as the Limb says, "This is the union and liberation of nature, the union and liberation of sense faculties, objects, and time, the union and liberation of samadhi, the union and liberation of great skillful means, and the union and liberation of manifestation." Of these five, the first is the realization that the nature of all phenomena is non-dual, which is union. Liberation from the conceptualization of dualistic grasping is liberation. As the Stages of the Path says, "It is union in the non-dual space." And, "By realizing the great self, one is also liberated in space." Second, the object is the mother who appears as the father, and the sense faculty arises from within as the father. The union of the father and mother in non-duality is union. The purification of ordinary conceptual thoughts in their own place is liberation. As it says, "Sense faculties, objects, and times, the mind of enlightenment is a collection of vajras." Third, one meditates through the generation stage, generating the deity as father and mother and playing with them, which is union. The samadhi of transferring the consciousness to be liberated to Akanishta is liberation. As the Snare of Means says, "The consciousness is gathered and absorbed by Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), in the supreme abode of Akanishta, the chief and the chief consort, and the heroes and heroines, are united."
