To descend upon. First, the very nature appears to the beings to be tamed in various forms of body, speech, and mind. Second, Sparkhab Khenpo said that it is both the nature of the teacher and the characteristic of the expounder, so it is commonly called the "Teacher." In short, there are four points: it is the essence of the three bodies; skillful means and wisdom are inseparable; it possesses six wisdoms; and it understands the meaning of the three liberations. The first point has three parts. In terms of the Dharmakaya: "There is no front or back, and everything is clearly visible." Therefore, the teacher and the five families are the bodies of wisdom. For the self-appearance of the Tathagata, there is no front or back; for the appearance of the beings to be tamed, there is no distinction, and everything is clearly visible, so the merits of the Rupakaya will not be exhausted. As the Lion's Complete Strength Sutra says: "The face of Samantabhadra is clear in the ten directions. The body of Samantabhadra has no front or back. With wisdom eyes, he sees in all ten directions." Therefore, in terms of the Sambhogakaya: "It has marks and signs." The marks and signs are divided into two types. Common marks, as the Important Sutra says: "The thirty-two excellent marks are that the hands and feet have wheel marks." And so on. The signs are also as the Sutra says: "The eighty minor marks are that the nails are like the color of copper." And so on. The special marks and signs are divided into outer, inner, and secret. The first is that the sixteen warriors are the sixteen manifestations of the four wisdoms, each divided into four like a mirror, and the sixteen manifestations of the sixteen dharmadhatus, their objects, are the sixteen vidyas, these thirty-two are the excellent marks. The eighty minor marks are that the sixteen warriors are adorned with the five emblems of the five Buddhas on their heads, symbolizing the five wisdoms. As the General Sutra says: "Because the flower of the marks is adorned with the fruit of the signs, it is adorned by the assembly of sons." Here, the headdresses of the sixteen vidyas are not mentioned because they symbolize the dharmadhatu. If you ask: How can these become ornaments? The answer is: Just as the retinue and the ornaments of the retinue are complete, they can also manifest the nature of the main deity, making it beautiful and complete. The second is the pulse of the four chakras, that is, the thirty-two pulses of the crown chakra are excellent marks, and

The sixteen of the throat. The four main channels of the heart. Subtracting the four empty channels from the sixty-four channels of the navel, there are sixty left. Thus, eighty are the minor marks. Moreover, in the Tantra it says: The four places of sound, with divisions of three, three, and two faces, become forty-two. So it is said. Third, it is based on the joy of the Teacher, the Father and Mother, at the time of union. The sixteen joys of the Father and the sixteen joys of the Mother, totaling thirty-two, are the excellent marks. Each joy of the Father is endowed with the taste of five wisdoms, so eighty are the minor marks. As it says in the Ocean: The bliss of Āli (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) and Kāli (Tibetan, Devanagari: क, Romanized Sanskrit: ka, Literal Chinese meaning: Ka), knowing them as one, unmixed with each other. Sixteen faces are endowed with marks. One side is endowed with five wisdoms. Eighty are superior to the causes of patience, etc. So it is said. Why are the inner and secret marks of the nature of channels and essences, how can they become ornaments? Answer: In the Sambhogakaya, the channels and essences are completely pure, becoming the nature of great bliss, with equal taste, which is the most excellent of ornaments, so says Yung Tikpa. Thus, the wheels on the hands and feet, etc., are also present in the Nirmanakaya, etc., so they are common. The marks of outer, inner, and secret are the superior qualities of the Teacher and the one who expounds, so they are special. As for the Nirmanakaya: In all the inconceivable places, appearing in various ways as body, speech, and mind, this is the source of all emanations. The various transformations are inconceivable and immeasurable, which is the way of appearance of activities. As it says in the Array of Trees: Even on one tip of a hair, there are countless inconceivable fields. The various shapes are also different, but they are not mixed. And as it says in the Inconceivable Secret Sutra: Peaceful Intelligence, as far as the sky extends, so far extends the body of the Tathagata. And so on, extensively spoken. Second, are the two feet of method and wisdom, etc. Method is great compassion, and wisdom is a symbol of the wisdom of emptiness, the two feet symbolizing the Father and Mother embracing each other in an equal lotus posture. In the translation of Thar Lo, it says: The two feet of method and wisdom are equally bound in a lotus posture and balanced.
