Because it is said, "I am the great king, and I am the one who teaches and listens." If it is said like that, there is no fault. Although the teacher and retinue are the same without difference, this tantra is spoken from the perspective of showing no difference, while other uncommon tantras such as the Hevajra, etc., are spoken from the perspective of showing that there are differences. This is merely because the trainees have different interests. I have not included all aspects. Furthermore, if it is not said, "Thus I have heard, at one time," then it would become not a true teaching, and then the Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara and the Manjushri-namasamgiti, etc., would also become like that. Because it is not said like that, but it is said, "Then the secret will be explained," and "Then, the glorious Vajradhara." Therefore, in the commentary on the Ornament for Clear Realization, it says, "This is merely another establishment, therefore, one should never rely on the views of other vehicles to raise objections." One should understand like this and act with caution. Secondly, in the common introduction, there are two types: the introduction to the specific tantra and the general introduction to the arising of the teachings. The first also has the actual introduction and the incidental introduction to the needs and purposes of the trainees. The first is shown by the first chapter of this tantra, In explaining it, there are two types: brief explanation and detailed explanation. The first is, like "Thus it was said," etc., identify the six perfections as before and combine them with the detailed explanation. Here, the common introduction is mentioned in relation to the previous uncommon one, otherwise this is also uncommon. If it is common, then in what place? Which teacher? At what time, dwelling with which retinue, was such a Dharma heard? Because it is necessary to teach that the teacher and retinue are different, the Dharma and vehicles are various, and the time is sometimes different, but here it is not taught like that, but it is said, "At the time when it was said thus," and its meaning will be known from the detailed explanation. Therefore, the lamas said that this is called the common and specific introduction. Why? If one thinks that common and specific are contradictory, they are not contradictory. Its name and meaning are, Gelantika and other ancient people, although the name is common only in the place being Akanishta, but here it refers to the Akanishta of the Great Powerful One.

Especially excellent. The teacher is only the same in the Sambhogakaya, but the sixth Victor is more excellent. The retinue is only the same in the Bodhisattvas, but the fruition Bodhisattvas are more excellent. The teachings are only the same in the path of liberation, but the secret essence of the path of liberation is more excellent. Therefore, it is said to be the topic of common and special features. 2. Explanation: The Subsequent Tantra says: "The teacher and so on are divided, and are said to be five perfections." Also, the root text says: "The teacher's place, retinue, collection, and teachings are known by time." Therefore, among the five or six perfections, the first teacher is also divided into the teacher's self-nature and the person who explains. The former is the sixth Bhagavan, the general form of Samantabhadra. The root text says: "The teacher's self-nature has eight branches, and the self-nature maker is Samantabhadra." Like that. It is also divided into the teacher's self-nature and essence. The former is divided into meaning and determination. The former, the teacher's intention, is the self-born wisdom, which is the nature of all phenomena and dharmata that are included in samsara and nirvana, and this is the self-nature. The second is that Vimala explained four self-natures, and the commentary says: "The essence of the supreme enlightenment, the enjoyment of the play of all phenomena, the master of the Sugatas of the directions and times, and all phenomena are inseparable." Like that. The Spar Khap says: The infinite qualities of the sixth Victor are also summarized into seven, which are the seven self-natures. The root text says: Although it is said to be eight by dividing the true and the complete separately, it is summarized into two. The former, in the teaching that is not separated from the deceased Dharma, separately teaches the five categories of names, and the teaching that is generally collected and not separated. The former, from the opposite side of the great qualities of the teacher, there are five names, namely: the self-nature that matures in suchness, is the Tathagata. Like that. In general, from the word Tathagata, Tatha is suchness, and gata is gone, come, known, or spoken. How did the past Victors pass away from the gate of the practice of Bodhi, and in the same way, they passed away and came with the same path, and how did suchness know and speak, and how did the appearance of desire appear, that is used with skillful means.
