Dakpo: Ignorance causes rebirth as animals, desire causes rebirth as humans, jealousy causes rebirth as asuras, and pride causes rebirth as gods. As stated in the "Later Treatise": "Kleshas and karma are samsara, and they are also the nature of the six realms." Also, as stated in the "Extensive Treatise": "Not knowing that all are equal, harboring hatred towards all beings, one transmigrates through the sixteen hells." And so on. These are also explained in the "Eye Commentary": "The conditions are merit and non-merit, unwavering karma, and the five examined kleshas. They are combined separately according to fineness, coarseness, quantity, and scarcity." So, what is the difference between the cause and the condition of samsara? The cause is what produces the essence of the result, and the condition is what produces the difference of the result. Third, the result of delusion is: the external appears as the container world, and the internal appears as sentient beings. Due to attachment, the result of karma and kleshas ripens in the form of suffering. As stated in this very text: "All worlds are delusions." Also: "The six realms, birth and death, body and enjoyment, places and suffering, the wheel of delusion, and so on." Also, in the commentary on that passage from the "Later Treatise": "Wherever one goes, one dwells there." Fourth, the time of delusion is: revolving without beginning or end, blinded by suffering due to delusion. As stated in the "Extensive Treatise": "From beginningless time, the mind has been let loose." Also, as stated in the "Three Stages": "From a time without beginning or end, one has strayed from realizing the true meaning due to conceptualization." Here, some say: Does samsara have a beginning and an end, or not? If the second view is held, then there is no need to practice the path, because the posterior limit of emptiness is endless. If one asserts that it has a beginning, then it contradicts what is said in this very text: "Through the union of hearing, thinking, and meditation, self-arisen all-encompassingness is spontaneously accomplished." If the first view is held, then samsara, as a phenomenon, should become something that can be completely eradicated. If one admits this, then the "General Sutra" clearly states: "Samsara is in a realm without beginning or end." In response, some say: There is a beginning, which is innate ignorance. This is very unreasonable, because ignorance exists simultaneously with the nature of reality, and the nature of reality, which is identical to it in essence, is without beginning or end. Others say: There is decrease but no increase, so there is also an end, like a pile of grain.

It is said that counting one by one is like exhausting. But this is also unreasonable, because there is a reason to establish it. If I also say that if I run far to the east, I will find the end of the sky, then what can prevent it? If it is said that because the end to be found is not established, then here also, it is the same because the end of the row of existence itself is not established. If it is said that because there is decrease and no one to increase, then here also, it is said that because there is progress and no one to stop it, so one cannot raise one's head. Therefore, it is said in the Compendium: Ignorance is a cycle, there is no exhaustion and no increase. Also, generally speaking, there is neither beginning nor end, because one can be liberated through the path, so individual people must have an end. Some say: In that case, a general example is needed, is it universal or not universal? If it is the former, then there must also be an end, because the universal dharma does not exist. If it is the latter, then because it is not universal to what is necessary, it must not be universal. Wise ones! The category of universal is not universal, this argument is not established, because it has not been admitted that the universal is reversed, and the individual is also the meaning of the reversed category. If it is said that because the collection is universal, then even if the universality of the collection is denied, there is no universality of the individual being denied. Here, according to the views of the commentaries of སྒྲོལ་གཡུང་(Tibetan, Phonetic transcription: Drol Yung), there are two kinds of meaning and answer. The meaning is that from this itself, there is no decrease in self-nature itself. And in the Lamrim, because the self-nature of samsara is invisible. Therefore, the two dharmas of samsara and transcendence, because those two and elsewhere cannot be said, so they transcend the category of consciousness, and are liberated from the saying of having a beginning and an end. However, if from the perspective of answering, if there is contradiction, then stop it, if it is the same, then raise it. If asked, does the vast sky have a boundary and a center? If you say yes, then samsara also has a beginning and an end. If you say that samsara has no beginning and no end, then the teachings of the General Sutra are clear. Just like that, the sky also has no boundary and center, because the teachings and reasoning clearly explain it, so one cannot raise one's head. Also, if you say that the sky has no boundary and center, then samsara also has no beginning and no end. If so, then practicing the path is meaningless, if you say that the sky of the hole cannot be blocked, then you cannot raise your head. The fifth is the aspect of error, this itself says, the outside and inside depend on each other and cycle, therefore the outside
