Because the basis is not a continuation of ignorance, it is inferred that delusion cannot arise. If it is said that ignorance is a sudden stain, because the cause is blocked, the result is also blocked. Therefore, a sudden stain cannot arise, because the cause is the stainless Tathagatagarbha. According to the original purity of wisdom, when body and wisdom are attained, delusion is abandoned. Gods and concepts become different. Therefore, the limbs of the Vajra heap are known as the five complete Buddhas, etc., which contradicts the above statements. As a general fault of original purity, the basis and stains are different. The Extensive Treatise says: Ignorance and wisdom are not different. On this path of non-understanding and understanding, they are one. This contradicts the scriptures. Or logical harm, and the appearance of delusion cannot be transformed into a pure aspect. Even seeing the Dharma nature does not abandon delusion, etc., which pour down like rain. As will be explained, if there is no basis for delusion, then the scriptures and reasoning that become faults will also cause harm. Furthermore, if according to the spontaneously accomplished Dharma nature, because the basis and delusion are inseparable, it is inferred that delusion cannot be abandoned. If according to the entity that is spontaneously accomplished, because it does not go beyond the nature of ignorance, even attaining the result of Buddhahood becomes unnecessary. As a general fault, it is because the basis and stains are considered inseparable. The Extensive Treatise says: What is called complete purity is not the purity of removing things, but is completely pure in appearance and use. This contradicts the scriptures, and because seeing the delusional appearance of ignorance leads to seeing the Dharma nature, etc., and the harm that occurs if there is a basis for delusion, these will be explained below. In short, original purity and spontaneous accomplishment, because one school harms the other, the lamas say that all four schools are flawed. Fourth, great original purity or original purity without fault, and great spontaneous accomplishment or spontaneous accomplishment without fault, are both called original purity from the perspective that the basis and result do not possess ignorance, and spontaneous accomplishment from the perspective that the basis and result have not abandoned ignorance. In reality, both the basis and result have not abandoned and do not possess ignorance, just as oil has not abandoned the substance of sesame but does not contain sesame seeds. Therefore, the separate appearances of samsara and nirvana are also conceptual constructs.

It is merely an illusion. If measured correctly from the nature of Dharma, there is originally no bondage and liberation. Like a prince wandering among the common people, regarding samsara and nirvana as equality. The root tantra says: "Without bondage, without liberation. Originally, the spontaneously perfect is the Buddha's Dharma." Furthermore, the subsequent tantra says: "All elaborations are completely pacified, the nature itself is said to be liberation. Since there is no bondage, it is liberation." The Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra says: "It is not teaching the fruit achieved after seeking, but it is spontaneously accomplished without seeking." Secondly, the Lamrim says: "That also establishes three states." That is, the conventional, the ultimate, and the indivisibility of truth. The first has: essence, meaning of words, classification, and method of application. The first also has: the general essence and the special conventional essence. The first is: merely appearing as the essence of terminology, without ceasing. The second is: like the moon in water, the uninterrupted appearance of emptiness and reality. To establish these, there are three: scripture, reasoning, and pith instructions. In terms of scripture, the Extensive Sutra says: "Conventional is also equal to illusion, various conditioned things, all appear as illusions, momentary appearances perform all actions, appear as the measure of all discriminations, all these are images, without action and without things, all exist like the moon in water, all appear without self-nature." It also says: "Conventional is like the moon in water, therefore it can transform and accomplish anything." In terms of pith instructions, the Lamrim says: "Like the moon in water, illusion, and emanation." In terms of reasoning, establishing mere appearance without cessation, and establishing the uninterrupted appearance of emptiness and reality. The first is: the appearing phenomenon does not cease, because there is an appearance of true wisdom in the nature, which is established by four reasons. What are the four? If appearance is not established, then illusion cannot arise; if there is no appearance, then it becomes a fault of not knowing the ultimate truth; this mere appearance cannot be denied by anyone; and in all self-minds, the power appears uninterruptedly. Thus, from the first of the four reasons: the current illusion cannot arise, because there is no appearance in its basic nature. Wherever appearance is denied, illusion
