Obtaining supreme accomplishment is the most supreme of needs. Beyond that, the need of needs is the fruit itself. Thus it is said. Furthermore, what is expressed and the expresser, what is to be known and the knower, the expresser and the need are means and what arises from means, and the relationship between the lama and the disciple is connected as essence and container-content through the difference of meaning and symbol. The need and the ultimate need are connected as arising from that, and the ultimate need and what is expressed are connected as being of the same essence. These are the connections. Chandra Gomi says in "The Lamp of Establishing Reasoning": If there is not, it does not arise, it is connected by dependence. Thus it is said. If we were to explain this tantra, which is endowed with such meaning, in general, the main thing to be pursued by intelligent individuals who practice entering the door of the Great Vehicle Secret Mantra is the perfection of benefiting others. As it is said: The perfection of benefiting others is considered the main fruit of the Buddhas. Thus it is said. Its basis is the fruit tantra known as the enlightenment of the perfection of benefiting oneself, and to realize it, it depends on having both the immediate cause and the accompanying condition. Therefore, considering the former, the base or the cause tantra is established. Considering the latter, the method or path tantra is established. Therefore, all the meanings of the subjects of all the tantras are completely included in the three: base, path, and fruit. Thus, having identified the object to which the names of the three tantras are applied, explaining it, classifying it from the point of view of terminology, summarizing it from the point of view of meaning, and establishing the meaning of the summary, there are three. The first also includes: dividing into three tantras, dividing into three or four appearances, dividing into three yogas or three families, and dividing into the three: base, path, and fruit. The first is: In the Later Tantra, it says: Tantra is explained as continuous, from method and cause comes the fruit. Thus, the naturally pure nature of reality is the cause tantra, manifesting nature is the method tantra, manifesting nature is the fruit tantra, connected as being of the same essence as the actions of what is known and what is obtained, because there is nothing incomplete in the needs of the three: base, path, and fruit. As it says in the Fierce Lightning: Connection and without incompleteness, perfection is tantra.

Sa-bya. And from Spar Khab it says: Because it is all connected and all complete. This is the second. From Thugs Thig it says: The nature of the Sugata, the object to be tamed, From the essence of the three appearances, The distinctions of the continuum are established. One also has the nature of three, Transforms into three confused appearances. Therefore, in the four appearances, It is clearly explained in all scriptures and reasonings. Therefore, the appearance of the basis nature, the appearance of the path to be tamed, the appearance of the fruit Sugata. The basis is the source of all dharmas. Nature is, as it says in the Root Verses on the Middle Way: Nature is uncreated, And does not depend on others. Thus, it is not made by wisdom and reason, but is self-appearing without the interruption of self-awareness, the power of the mind of enlightenment. The object to be tamed is one who has generated or can generate the five common and supreme minds. The path is the vehicle, which appears differently according to the stages of the mind of the object to be tamed. Because the qualities without separation or attainment have matured, the Blissful One.

It is already completed, therefore, being able to manifest the non-duality of oneself and others is the yoga of the effortless result. Now, are the three yogas taught here and the statement in the "Collected Meanings of Sutras": "Action is the basis, activity is the condition, the effortless is the yoga of the result," of the same or different intention? Yungton Chenpo said: When calculating the consistency of each stage of the path, they are considered the same. However, the latter two yogas appear to be different from this one in their view. Because it says: Effort and practice lead to the excellent path, that vehicle is the condition of action. Thus, the three vehicles that lead to arising are said to be the yoga of the condition of activity. Furthermore, it says: There is no desire for results, the object to be attained is the path itself, this great method vehicle is effortless. That is, the three outer asceticism and mantra vehicles, and the three inner control method vehicles, are said to be the yoga of the effortless result. So, should we explain it in the same way here? No, because for the latter yoga, the "Eye Commentary" says: The ultimate yoga, having already arisen in the stream of effortlessness, does not change, it is the nature of the result. Therefore. Also, the implication of "nature" here can also be transformed into three natures: the essence does not change into something else and is not interrupted, it is the nature of the mother; generating the five minds, arising in the stream of dharmata, and not abandoning its unique aspects, it is the nature of effort; having already arisen in the stream, there is no action of the effort of the path, it is the nature of the result. The fourth is, as stated in the "Three Stages": The Dharma with basis, path, and result. Therefore, what is realized is the stream of the basis, what realizes and traverses is the stream of the path, and where it is ultimately completed is the stream of the result, which is said to be the three: basis, path, and result. Even so, if the twelve divisions within the four categories are mutually exclusive in essence, then it contradicts the statement in the "Heart Drop": "One has the essence of three." If it is not a division with opposites, but the same one, then it contradicts being divided separately. There is no fault because the essence is the same but the aspects are different. The stages of the path say: Thus, wisdom abides in itself, the path and the result are all essence. Therefore, the essence
