It tells about the merits of Palgyi Drakpa and Zhang Gyalwa. From Darje, two precepts were divided, namely the well-known Central School and Kham School. Zhang received it from Nub Sangye Yeshe. This is known as the Illusion Tantra Method or the Jewel Method, which is one precept. Also, Nyak Jñana, a student of both Guru Padmasambhava and Vimalamitra, taught it to Sogpo Palgyi Yeshe, who taught it to Nub, which is one precept. Also, among the common students of Ma and Nyak, Khu Jangchub Ö and Khyunpo Yik Ö, Khu taught it to Zhang, and Khyunpo taught it to Darje. Zhang mainly relied on the explanations of the two scholars Tsuk Gyer and Khu, so it is called the Teaching Protector, and it is also called the Teaching Chimphu Mar, named after the place. Teaching it to Nub is one precept. Nub Sangye Yeshe had four heart-disciples and one supreme son, making a total of five. The four sons were: So Yeshe Wangchuk, Pagor Lönchen Phak, Ngan Yönten Chok, and Dru Lekpai Drönme. The supreme son was Nub Yönten Gyatso. He taught it to his son Yeshe Gyatso. The father and son, along with So Yeshe Wangchuk, taught it to Nyang Sherab Chok. He taught it to Nyang Yeshe Jungne, who taught it to Lhaje Zurpoche Shakya Jungne. He had four top disciples, five secret disciples, one hundred and eight meditators, etc. The four top disciples were: Minyak Jung Drak, Zhang Göchungwa, Sang Gom Shergyal, and Lhaje Zurchungwa Sherab Drakpa. Je Zurchungwa had four pillars, eight beams, sixteen rafters, thirty-two crossbeams, two Yupo Che, and many other disciples. Among them, the four pillars are: Kyotön Shakya Ye, the pillar of Dzogchen; Yangkhyed Lama, the pillar of Sutra; Lan Shakya Sangpo, the pillar of Illusion; and Dati Chöshak, the pillar of Activity Accomplishment. Among the sons of Lhaje Zurchungwa, Tsetsa Dorje Bar and Sangdak Drophukpa Chenpo Shakya Senge, Je Drophukpa listened to the four pillars and Lan Nyatsalwa Shakya Jangchub, the disciples of his father, and mastered them well. Drophukpa had a thousand umbrella-carrying disciples, and among them, there were four, three, and twelve heart-disciples.

The four black ones of Yela are: Zur Nak Kholo, Jetsun Gya Nakpa, Nyang Nak Dowo, Darna Tsuktor Wangchuk or some say Je Pal Seng. The four Tun are: Nye Tun, Gyap Tun, Zhang Tun, Gya Tun, or removing the latter two and adding Nyen Tun and Khara Tun Nying are also seen.

He also bestowed upon me the teachings of the 'King's Treatise, Dispelling Darkness in Ten Directions.' The Eight Classes of Illusion, the Four Classes of Explanatory Tantras, and the subsidiary tantras, along with over two hundred companions, the Sangha of the Vajrayana meaning, I received the great collection of one hundred thousand tantras of the Ancient Unexcelled Tradition in a single session. The Root Tantra and the Eighty Chapters were also bestowed as a kindness on many occasions at other times. The lineages of these, and the great histories of each lineage, etc., are not recorded here for fear of too many words, so please learn about them from elsewhere. In short, our glorious and venerable Lama is the sole chief, unmatched by any on earth, the venerable all-knowing one, difficult to name, known as the Great Treasure Dharma King in the world with gods. In general, he is the teacher of the entirety of the Buddha's teachings, and in particular, of all the teachings and treasures of the Nyingma Vajrayana. Especially when the empowerments, teachings, explanations, and oral instructions of the Guhyagarbha cycle were nearing their end, Lhaje Zurpoche himself appeared again to clarify this certainty. Therefore, in the definitive sense, those connected to this Rinpoche have a remarkably close lineage. The second greatness is: In the 'Clear Lamp of the Core Text,' it says, 'This Essence of Secret Nature has eight greatnesses that surpass others.' Therefore, there are eight: Because it is the king of all tantras, it is certainly great, like the sun with radiant light. Because it is the pinnacle of all vehicles, it is great like the supreme Mount Meru in the center. Because it is the source of all teachings, it is great like the element of space. Because it is the general commentary on all instructions, it is great like space opening the door to existence. Because it is the innermost intention of all the Tathagatas, it is great like a person who has received the king's secret command. Because it is the heart of all fruits, it is great like a wish-fulfilling jewel. Because it is the footprint of all the Tathagatas, it is great like the trace of an empty path. Because it is the path of future yogis, it is great like a road to the throne, there are eight. The first of these is: Like the sun
