If, like this, one regrets thinking that saying that harmful actions such as union and liberation are Dharma is a heretical teaching, if one does not abandon the bad habits of Tibet and Nepal, one cannot understand the meaning of the equality of Dharma, and one practices in order to abandon attachment, the Sutras and others also think so. Killing black people with short spears, having intercourse with the daughter of a merchant, etc., using them for union and liberation with a good heart, will not be stained by sins, and immeasurable merits will increase, the Sutras and others also think so, for the sake of common precepts, so it is called common meaning. The second is: the palace as the support and the visualization of the deity as the supported, etc., those related to the generation stage, because they are the common precepts of both the generation stage and the completion stage, so it is a common meaning. The hidden is: explaining the rituals of action mudra and entering into samadhi, etc., because it is not suitable to be proclaimed in public, so it is the hidden Dharma of desire; and self-blessing, the completion stage of channels, winds, and bindus, etc., is the hidden of conventional truth. Because it is contained in the middle of the common and ultimate, it is like the essence, so it is hidden. The ultimate is: the definitive completion stage of the clear light, which is the seal of these, is the ultimate of the path, and the realization of the union of the two truths is the ultimate of the fruit. Because the four methods must be explained from one word of Vajra, in different ways according to the faculties. Because the meaning expressed by that word is completely exhausted without any remainder, it is the ultimate. The fifth ornament is: In the important treatise, it says: There are two kinds of differences between listening and speaking, which are considered to be assemblies and disciples. Thus, the assembly speaking of the two is according to the literal meaning, and the non-secret meaning, the provisional meaning, the literal meaning, and the common meaning that are common with it, except for the hidden Dharma of desire, the generation stage and its retinue. The disciple's speaking is: not according to the literal meaning, and the definitive meaning, the secret meaning, the hidden, and the ultimate, etc., are the completion stage and its retinue. Here, the uncommon non-secret meaning is contained in the hidden and ultimate. The sixth ornament is: In the important treatise, it says: There are five kinds of vessels of individuals, the examples of utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语:乌 उत्पལ་), lotus, white, red, sandalwood, and precious stones. Thus, there are five kinds, after hearing from the master, one can remember it once, but due to the factors of noise and so on, the person who quickly forgets is called utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语:乌 उत्पལ་), for example, utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语:乌 उत्पལ་)

Just as a flower has the virtue of holding nectar inside, but quickly decays when placed near the ear, etc. Furthermore, a person who has heard much and does not forget, but cannot explain it to others, is called a white lotus person. For example, a white lotus is more difficult to wither than the former, and its nectar is more stable, but when it is with the sun, the flower closes, so bees and others cannot take the nectar. Furthermore, a person who has faith, love, and wisdom, and whose mind is open, can explain to others, but whose continuum is unstable and whose virtues do not last long, is called a red lotus person. For example, a red lotus is opened by the sun and has the virtue of holding nectar, but because of dripping, the nectar does not last long. Furthermore, a person who has little learning and great pride, who has no root in scripture or reason, but speaks much and cannot guide disciples, is called a sandalwood person. For example, the heartwood of a sandalwood tree is small in substance but has a strong fragrance, its roots are not deeply embedded, and its branches are luxuriant, but it is coiled by venomous snakes, so others cannot take it. Furthermore, a person who is pure in discipline, learned and intelligent, whose continuum is stable, and who can explain well to others what he has heard himself, is called a precious jewel person. For example, a precious jewel is flawless, endowed with virtues, does not change from goodness, and grants wishes. Among them, the precious jewel is the best, the other three are intermediate, and sandalwood is the worst. The best is to teach disciples, and the other four are vessels for teaching the assembly. The seventh ornament is: In the Essential Meaning, it says, "The intention of the two truths, please explain the conventional and ultimate truths." Therefore, relying on the previous six ornaments, the meaning of the continuum is determined to be the two truths. The generation stage, including the retinue, and the completion stage with signs are the conventional truth, and the completion stage of suchness without signs, luminosity, is the ultimate truth. Union is also to be attained, therefore it is established as the ultimate truth. In this way, this method of explaining the seven ornaments, although it is not the lineage of explanation of this tantra, is like the general method of explanation spoken of in the Essential Meaning. For new learners, it is considered a branch of much hearing, so this method of explanation, which is established in nomenclature, is slightly better than other methods.
