In short, there is also a distinction between classification and summarization here. If it is said that the vehicles of gods and humans are combined, there is no fault. Because the vehicle of gods and humans is the vehicle of higher rebirth. The condensation into three in the Vajra Heart Commentary refers to the vehicle of liberation. Therefore, your clinging to only the three vehicles is merely being confused about the meaning of the Lankavatara Sutra, which says that the vehicles are inconceivable. Furthermore, using the reason that the terms Anu and Ati do not appear in the externally translated tantras to deny them will turn into a praise for the unskilled. Because the Buddha makes distinctions between the scriptures based on the beings to be tamed, it is a general rule that the terms and extensive explanations of the higher ones do not appear in the lower ones. For example, the Paramita vehicle does not appear in the Vinaya Pitaka of the Hearers, the outer tantras do not appear within it, and the terms of Sambhoga, etc., do not appear in those. Therefore, the mere fact that the terms and extensive explanations of Anu and Ati do not appear in Sambhoga, etc., is sufficient to prove that Dzogchen is the pinnacle of all vehicles. Enough of elaboration! Secondly, regarding the treatises, there are two aspects: generally explaining the system and specifically identifying the commentaries on this tantra. The first aspect includes the definition, meaning of the words, and classification. First, the definition is: mainly driven by the intention to write a treatise, any scripture compiled to explain one's own desired tenets to others. Having three characteristics is the definition of a pure treatise, and lacking any of these three characteristics is the definition of something that appears to be a treatise. The three characteristics are: relying on the words of the Buddha and serving as its commentary, spoken by a being with an undistracted mind, and the function is consistent with the path to liberation. As the Uttaratantra says: "Whatever is influenced solely by the Buddha's teachings, spoken by a being with an undistracted mind, and consistent with the path to liberation, that is the true holy word, which the wise should take upon their heads." Secondly, regarding the meaning of the words: from the meaning of the Sanskrit word "śāstra," "śāsa" means to subdue, and "tra" means to protect. Therefore, having the two qualities of subduing and protecting is a treatise. As the Pramanavarttika says: "Subduing all the enemies of afflictions."

And, what is it that protects from the state of evil destinies? It is the treatises, for the sake of the qualities of taming and protecting. These two are not found in other systems. Thus it is said. Thirdly, there are six divisions: from the perspective of superior and inferior, from the perspective of function, from the perspective of the author, from the perspective of how it was composed, from the perspective of the meaning of the subject matter, and from the perspective of the teachings to be explained. The first is: In the covenant of the assembly that decides the place of the Bliss Gathering, it says: Treatises are known to be fourfold: meaningless, of little meaning, of distorted meaning, and meaningful. Thus there are four: The meaningless, like the treatise on observing the crow's caw. The one with little meaning, like the treatise on the four common sciences. The one with distorted meaning, like the treatise of the outsiders. The one with meaning, like the treatise on the inner science of the Buddhists. In the Earth Section, it is explained as nine, as it is said: Meaningless, distorted, and meaningful. Wicked, deceitful, without compassion, abandoning suffering. Diligently taking up listening, debating, and practicing. Treatises are of nine kinds. Thus, from the three sets of three, the first two appear to be, and the last one is the true treatise. The second is: The three categories of treatises that collect the vast meaning of the Buddha's words, that compile the confused, and that distinctly separate the profound, are, in order, the Stages of the Path, the Jewel Net, and the Vimala's Heart Drop, and so on. The third is: What the Buddha said and made into a treatise are the five Agamas of the Bliss Gathering made by Vajradharma, and the Five Dharmas of Maitreya, and so on. What the Arhats said and made into a treatise are the seven treatises of the Abhidharma, and so on. What the noble beings who subdued the earth composed and made into a treatise are the treatises of Nupchen, who resided in the place of the great teacher Padmasambhava and Od Tro, and so on. What was composed after receiving prophecy from the Yidam deity and made into a treatise are the treatises of Sekdor and Dignaga, and so on. What the scholars composed by debating their own tenets and refuting the tenets of others are the treatises of the four pillars of the heart sons, and so on. The fourth is: The two treatises that explain the Buddha's words themselves, and that compose the meaning of the Buddha's words in one's own continuum, are, in order, the commentary Sparkhab and the Great Omniscient One's Mind at Rest, and so on. The fifth is: Showing how it is, showing how many there are, showing the means to attain liberation and omniscience,
