Moreover, because the meaning of the words is not different, and also in Spar Khab, it is considered that the root tantra is spoken by a person who can explain it, so it is harmful. Also, the Nyang commentary says: That which can generate other meanings without relying on other treatises is the root tantra; that which explains the meaning of the tantra through the tantra is the explanatory tantra. This statement is not reasonable. According to the first statement, then those stages of the path that enter gradually would not need to rely on other vehicles, because this itself can generate it. It cannot be considered so, because it is clear from "The arrangement of the grounds in particular, is the path to enter the heart essence of the secret." According to the second statement, then this very root tantra would also become an explanatory tantra, because the "days of practice" in the eleventh chapter are explained by "a day is thirty-six" in the ninth chapter. Rog Deshek Chenpo said: That which appears first and becomes the basis for explanation is the root tantra; that which appears later and becomes the explainer, and the object of the tantra is established elsewhere, is the explanatory tantra. This is well considered. Just as it is said in the "Wonderful Tantra of the Cemetery": "What is spoken first is the root tantra, what is spoken later is the explanatory tantra, what is said briefly is the root, what is explained in detail is the explanatory tantra." Third, the presentation and refutation of arguments. First, U Ru Pal Dzin said: Because the view is particularly superior, Dzogchen is the highest. The characteristic of mantra is not the view, what is higher than Madhyamaka? Second, is it said that all Mahayana consider the view to be free from elaboration? Or is it said that the views of both Madhyamaka and Mantra are the same in considering freedom from elaboration? According to the first statement, then the views of both Madhyamaka and Cittamātra would become non-different, because both are considered to belong to Mahayana. If so, it is clear that Cittamātra does not consider freedom from elaboration. According to the second statement, although they agree on ultimate freedom from elaboration and conventional illusion, that alone does not establish the view of mantra, because the view of mantra is to consider the nature of the two truths as inseparable, therefore, those characteristics of conventional illusion are also seen as the characteristics of completely pure deities. Therefore, it is unreasonable for you not to consider mantra to have a view superior to Madhyamaka, because this

Thus. If the nature of reality is Buddha, then it is not reasonable for phenomena not to be Buddha, because the essence of phenomena is the nature of reality. Thus, because it is accepted that the view of samsara and nirvana are inseparable. To this, some say: Those appearances of deities in conventional reality of mantra, are phenomena, not a view focused on ultimate reality, because it is a practice focused on conventional reality. If you say that, not wanting conventional reality to be the object of view, is because viewing the two truths as good and bad, accepting and rejecting, is the custom of the sutras, but in tantra, without separating from the origin of the two truths, the view of equality is accepted. It is also unreasonable to hold that practice is practice and not view, etc., holding view and practice as contradictory, because it is known to all wise and accomplished ones that after establishing the view, one practices the meaning of realization. If, as it is said in the scriptures, the aggregates, elements, etc., are realized as originally pure as deities, it is not a view of the nature of reality, and even if it is not so, if one falsely imputes and practices it, it will become separate view and practice, and no result will arise, just as no matter how hard one tries to turn a stone into gold, it will not become gold. Therefore, it is established that there are differences in view. Having been established in this way, it is certain that it will also be considered that there are differences in the stages of the vehicle that realizes it. In all nine vehicles, individual views appear, and the most supreme of all is Atiyoga. Therefore, calling it with unpleasant words such as "supreme" is just nonsense, and has no meaning. To this, some say: This is not reasonable, because the Vajra Heart Commentary says: "The fourth Buddha land, and the fifth is not the intention of the Able One." Therefore, it is said in the scriptures that there is no fourth vehicle and fifth doctrine, so it must be that there are only three vehicles. If so, then the Praise of Names and the Vajra Heart Commentary itself say: "The liberation of the three vehicles, abides in the fruit of one vehicle." Dividing into four vehicles is also unreasonable, because it has been determined that there are only three vehicles. Some say: Dividing into three vehicles is the three vehicles of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas, and after that, it is divided into cause and effect and said to be four vehicles, so it is only a difference of division and combination, and there is no fault. If so, then the same is true for the nine vehicles, the six outer and inner tantras are included in the fruit vehicle, and they are also included in the Buddha vehicle.
