It is desired that the power of unceasing play manifests as the body of a deity. As the Kun 'dus (All-Gathering Sutra) says: "The co-emergent Great Perfection is originally pervasive, In this mandala arranged with outer, inner, and secret aspects, The realm of pure appearances and existences is the realm of gods and goddesses." Also, as the Bang mdzod 'phrul lde (Treasure Key) says: "The Dzogpa Anu Yoga, Considers the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, As the mandala of gods and goddesses, It is considered as the way of completion without generation." Third, regarding discipline, the Don bsdus (Essence Gathering) says: "The foundation is the vow, Meaning to abide in the restraint of the three doors, Guarding and accomplishing the root and branches, That itself is it." Therefore, one should guard and accomplish the vows of the root and branches, etc., with the three doors. If divided, there are four vows of essential determination, twenty-eight common ones, four additional ones, twenty-three of ascetic practice, twenty of accomplishment, four of constant conduct, abandoning the five demons, subduing the four enemies, and the vow of view, totaling nine categories, as explained in the sixty-first chapter of the General Sutra. If summarized, they can be summarized into two types of vows: the immediate vow without guarding boundaries, and the gradual vow with guarding boundaries. The General Sutra says: "What is to be guarded without guarding, Is the sacred vow of Dharma-nature." And: "This vow is most wondrous, Because it is not common to all, For all small desires, Boundaries of guarding should be maintained." Fourth, regarding meditation, the Don bsdus (Essence Gathering) says: "The essence is method and wisdom." Therefore, there are two paths: the path of method and the path of liberation. The former is the method of cultivating the innate wisdom by relying on the yoga of meditating on the four or six wheels of the upper gate, and the absorption of the two lower gates, space and secret. As it says: "The kara of play, etc., Enter there through the method of instructions." The latter has two aspects: the placement of meaning and the play of signs. The former is the samadhi of non-elaboration and non-conceptualization, resting the mind of the meditator without alteration in the state of the essence of Dharma-nature as it is. As the General Sutra says: "In the Dharma-nature as it is, Placing the mind as it is, In the state of non-verbalization, Constantly remembering without distraction." The latter is the samadhi of the deity with elaboration, mantra.

Just as fish leap from the water at the mere mention of it, the practice primarily involves contemplating the outer world and inner beings as a clear and unmixed mandala of deities. As it is said in the "Treasure Key": "In the vehicle of Anu Yoga, only the essence is spoken, contemplate as the deity of non-origination and completion." Also, as it is said in the "Compendium": "The pure realm of appearance and existence is the sphere of gods and goddesses, the arising and the arisen, the perfectly complete fathers and mothers." This is the general statement. In the path of definite completion contemplation, there are two: with outflows and without outflows. The first is: the yoga of aspiration of mind, and the yoga of distinguishing the great elements. The second is: the yoga of great exhalation, obtaining great teachings, and perfecting great diligence. The fifth is conduct, which generally emphasizes practicing equality. As it is said in the "Treasure Key": "Perfect Anu Yoga is the complete enjoyment of the sphere and wisdom." Specifically, there are three types: blessing, empowerment, and skillful conduct. As it is said in the "General Sutra": "The conduct of blessing, the conduct of empowerment and skillful means, like the king of the sky, like a fire and a river." The sixth is the result, which is to manifest in one lifetime the nature of the twenty-five fruits, inseparable and spontaneously accomplished, the essence of the four bodies, the body of great bliss. As it is said in the "Essence of Thigle Tantra": "The nature of the clear light mind, inseparable from the sphere and wisdom, whoever contemplates this great bliss, will perfect enlightenment in this life." And as it is said in the "Treasure Key": "The vehicle of Anu Yoga, in one uninterrupted lifetime, will surely go to the Buddha ground." Third, the vehicle of the oral instruction Ati Yoga has three aspects: nature, definition, and classification. The first is:

It enters through the gate of non-entry. As the Kunje (All-Creating Tantra) says: Because Dharma has no action, it enters through the gate of non-effort. Thus it is. Second, the view: All phenomena encompassed by appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, are considered to be primordially enlightened without effort, as the essence of the great bindu, the dharmakaya, the great self-arisen wisdom. As the Great Sky says: From self-arisen wisdom, without effort, it also shows the path of liberation after liberation. And as the Great Garuda says: Self-arisen wisdom, non-conceptual, abides always as it is. Thus it is. Third, discipline: It is to not transgress the samayas of non-existence and confusion, etc. As the Key to Unlocking the Magical Display says: The samaya of Ati Yoga is non-existence and confusion, oneness and spontaneous accomplishment. One should not transgress its meaning. Thus it is. Fourth, meditation: As the Great Arrangement of Ati says: For those with mind, the Mind Series; for those with space, the Space Series; for those without sequential effort, the Instruction Series. Accordingly, placing awareness-emptiness in the state of dharmakaya is the Mind Series; placing dharmata in the state of non-effort is the Space Series; placing the primordially liberated dharmata, free from acceptance and rejection, is the Instruction Series. Generally, the meditation of the Dzogchen system is summarized into Trekchö and Tögal. As the Rosary of Pearls says: The practice is Trekchö and Tögal. Thus it is. The first of these is to remain without wavering from the state of the view of kadak (primordial purity). As the Great Garuda says: It is established by spontaneous abiding. Thus it is. The teacher Garab Dorje said: The nature of mind is primordially Buddha. Mind has no arising or ceasing, like space. All dharmas are equal, having realized the true meaning. If one abides without seeking it, that is meditation. Thus he spoke in the heart essence of the profound meaning of Ati. Having meditated in this way, there are four stages of development on the path: abiding, non-moving, equality, and spontaneous accomplishment. Thus it is said. The second, Tögal, is the sequential arising of the four visions based on the six vajra places: dharmata directly perceived, increase of experience, perfection of awareness, and the exhaustion of dharmata, which culminates in the visions. Fifth, conduct: Whatever appears arises as the play of dharmata, so one acts without acceptance or rejection. As the Great Sky says: Without action, all actions are accomplished. Thus it is. The Key to Unlocking the Treasury says: The Ati Yoga of
