One who comes back once and one who does not come back, which are the temporary fruits, and ultimately, the Arhat who has the wisdom of knowing exhaustion and knowing non-arising, possessing both the remaining and non-remaining aspects. Each of the four fruits is divided into two stages, entry and abiding, making a total of eight. Based on the object of division, there are four pairs of individuals; based on the dharma of division, there are eight types of persons. Regarding these, the extensive explanation says: 'Understanding the meaning of the four truths, diligently abandoning, Sixteen wisdom parts trained, greatly pacified and tamed, Stream-enterer and so on, gradually trained, The enemy of afflictions, goes to the land of peace.' And so on. Secondly, regarding the meaning of 'the vehicle of self-awakening' in this very text, there are essence, definition, and divisions. Firstly, it is the method of realizing enlightenment in the last existence without relying on a teacher, by cultivating the path of dependent arising through the realization of half and two parts of selflessness. Secondly, from the meaning of the Sanskrit word Pratyekabuddha, it is called a solitary realizer because one realizes one's own enlightenment by oneself, individually or alone practicing enlightenment. Thirdly, as before, there are six. The first is the gateway to enter, as the Self-Explanation says: 'The gateway to enter is the twelve dependent arisings.' Therefore, one enters through the gateway of the twelve dependent arisings. That is, dependent arising is, Heruka In Galpo it says: 'For the solitary realizer to train the mind in Dharma, The Dharma of outer and inner dependent arising.' Therefore, there are twelve outer and inner dependent arisings. How do these revolve? The outer dependent arisings have the manner of more or less, and the inner dependent arisings are habitual imprints for those without bodies, and actually revolve for those with bodies. How does one enter through these? Generally, the solitary realizer with the sharpest faculties, like a rhinoceros, accumulates the accumulation of the path of accumulation for a hundred eons, the one with middling faculties accumulates a hundred lifetimes with the accumulation of great practice, included by patience of middling quality and below, and the one with dull faculties accumulates thirteen lifetimes with the accumulation of small practice, included by fifteen moments of the path of seeing and below, and knowing that there is no opportunity to attain enlightenment on that basis, one makes aspirations and takes birth in a world not held by Buddhas and Hearers. The Root Wisdom of the Middle Way says: 'When the Buddhas have not appeared, And the Hearers have all ceased, The wisdom of the solitary Buddha,'

It arises completely without depending on anything. So it is said. Without relying on a Khenpo or Acharya, he becomes a self-arisen Bhikshu. When he goes to the charnel ground, as soon as he sees the bones, he becomes disillusioned with samsara. Thinking about where these bones came from, he investigates and realizes that they came from aging and death, and that aging and death came from birth, and so on. In this way, he gradually realizes that the root of samsara is ignorance. Thinking about how to be liberated from this, he also thinks that if ignorance ceases, then karma ceases, and even aging and death cease. This is entering through understanding dependent origination in forward and reverse order. The second is the view, realizing the selflessness of the person is similar to the Shravakas. On top of that, realizing that the apprehended aspect of the self of phenomena, the subtle particles, have no inherent nature, but still regarding the moment of the apprehending mind as ultimate truth, and believing that samsara and nirvana are dependent origination and cause and effect, therefore, realizing one and a half selflessnesses.
