Like that. Because it doesn't exist, it's impossible for oneself to do it. Like a finger, suspecting it's impossible, therefore it is said. Then what is measured? Measure the present moment of consciousness, measure the clinging appearances of each. As it is said in the Discrimination: Know that, the momentary consciousness. Also, examine each one individually. If the mind transforms into discriminating wisdom, is there nothing to measure? Even if the mind with discrimination temporarily transforms into thinking wisdom, the nature of clinging is not purified, so it can generate imputation, and clinging appearances can arise. There is no fault in that. Because the antidote that purifies the consciousness of mind and discrimination from the root is the wisdom of meditation. But that has not yet relied on the continuum, and from the root The antidote to abandon imputation, the path of seeing, has not arisen at this time. As it is said in the Stages of the Path: Without an antidote, it is not purified, because it is an intermediate object, so the definition can be established. And as it is said in the Discrimination: If the mind transforms, clinging also, ceases simultaneously and does not exist. At that time, there should be no basis for examination. If you doubt, the objects of clinging are not eternally pure. Even if they act separately, they can see the objects of clinging. Thus, the stream of consciousness on the moment is not measured by gathering in one moment of manifestation, because when one manifests, one remains in a latent state. Measure by the way of meeting the former and the present, the present and the future. The first moment of the present is just a meeting, the second starts to enter, when the third thinking wisdom is fully generated, the manifestations of the former imputation cease respectively, and the next moment of forgetting that continuation by other causes, imputation is being generated. Because the object and consciousness are not mixed, there is no fault of not having something to measure. As it is said in the Discrimination: When observing, because it transforms into a place, suspecting that there is nothing to measure, clinging is the general object of consciousness. The transformation of the moment is consciousness itself. Therefore, because the object and mind are not mixed, there is no fault in measuring clinging appearances. Therefore it is said. Even so, does the wisdom of thinking arise after the clinging appearance is purified, or does it arise when it is not pure? If it is like the first case, then because the clinging appearance does not remain at that time, thinking wisdom becomes meaningless. If it is like the second case, then the stream of consciousness measures on the moment
