Therefore, it is called "vulgar." As it says in Spark: "Not understanding anything is worldly vulgarity." There are two The first is: because it holds the tenets of the Mahayana, it is not desirable, and will be explained in detail below. There are four types of conscious beings, as it says in the Great Sutra: "There are four types of conscious beings, the attached, the distracted, the fearful, and the faithful, appearing as fields holding seeds." These are, in order: those who are attached to desirable objects and cannot bear to part with them, those who are distracted by the affairs of this life, those who seek power and wealth at the cost of sin, and those of the lineage who abandon the ten non-virtues and believe in liberation. The second type of inverted knowledge has two aspects: meaning and classification. The first is: the mind of the individual who is the basis is transformed by inverted tenets. The second has: the stubbornly nihilistic and the eternally heretical. The first is: because the nature of phenomena is not established in anything, it takes error as its basis, believing that there are no past and future lives or karmic cause and effect, believing that all phenomena of one life arise suddenly without cause and have an end. The second is: because the nature of phenomena is unchanging, it takes error as its basis, believing that all phenomena have a self, that is, the so-called "eternal, singular, independent self," believing that there is a self that is the eater and doer in the continuum of the five aggregates that exists in the ultimate sense. Among these, there are four divisions: the Samkhya, the Vaisheshika, the Lokayata, and the Naked Ascetics. Adding nihilism to these four is known as the Five Heretics. Here, if the term "stubborn" is not distinguished from the term "heretic," it can be used as a general name for outsiders. Light

When asked by Odzungs, Odzung said: "Odzung, my teachings cannot be destroyed by the ninety-six kinds of heretics, but will be destroyed by my monks who are like me." It was said. The four views of not understanding and misunderstanding arise only from ignorance, so they are worldly views. In the Garland of Views, it says: "In the world, the inverted views of sentient beings are countless, and are summarized into four types: the vulgar, the nihilists, the eternalists, and the heretics." From "These are the views of ignorance" to the end. The two views of not understanding are not sectarian views, but in order to summarize the state of mind, they are explained as similar. The two views of misunderstanding are views that change the mind with sectarianism, but because they cling to the extreme of exaggeration to the nature of dharma that is free from extremes, they are not a method of liberation from samsara. Not only are the eternalists the worst among the sectarianists, but also the heretics are bound by the root of samsara, self-grasping, because they desire self. As it is said in the Commentary on Valid Cognition: "As long as there is attachment to self, it will remain in samsara." Therefore, in the Stages of the Path, it is said: "Whoever's mind clings to the two extremes of permanence and annihilation, it is said that they are liberated from the essence of meaning." Therefore, the views on the path and the fruit are not written here. Here, some say: "It is very unreasonable to explain the sectarian views of outsiders when explaining the divisions of the Buddha's teachings." But this is not a fault, because if we consider the perspective of the heretical Svātantrika, there is a need to recognize the places of downfall on the path and what should be abandoned, so that the vehicle that transcends the world does not deviate from its own path. As it is said in Heruka Galpo: "If you are certain about the heretical vehicle, I will explain it to you so that you do not practice what should be abandoned." Also, if we consider the perspective of the incarnate, not only does it have the previous need, but these are also the activities of the Buddha who tames according to what is appropriate. Therefore, in the teachings of the Compassionate Hanging Rope Place of the Bliss Gathering made by Bodhisattva Vajradharma, it says: "Entering with various kinds of compassion, taming in a way that is appropriate, the groups of outsiders"
