Regarding this instruction, in the 'Garland of Views' by the great master Padmasambhava, one should generate faith through the path of four realizations, ultimately determine the meaning through three characteristics, spontaneously accomplish the meaning through the four limbs of approach and accomplishment, and demonstrate the method of entering the spontaneously accomplished mandala. In general, it is taught by dividing it into four meanings, of which the latter will be explained later, and the first three are included in what has been said before, so they will not be elaborated here. Secondly, regarding the explanation in terms of the empowerment of the expedient path instructions, there are two types: explaining it like the upper gate taming instruction, and explaining it like the lower gate three realms play instruction. The first one also has four types: the instruction of Samantabhadra, the instruction of Samantabhadri, the instruction of pure union, and the instruction of great pervasion. The first one is: having the mandala, etc., one verse. In the center of the empty heart, there are eight essence of the root-veins, like intertwined root-petals, which are condensed into four veins: the three in front are the nature veins, which are the functioning of unborn self-appearance; the one on the right is the wisdom vein, which is the functioning of the arising of wisdom; the one on the left is the quality vein, which is the functioning of the appearance of supernormal knowledge and the qualities of fruition; the three in the back are the self-nature veins, which are the functioning of bewildering and destroying consciousnesses. Inside these veins are four lights, and within them reside the seeds to be purified and the purifying seeds, along with the various consciousnesses. For the nature vein, the light is a white sphere, the to-be-purified are སུ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: सु, Romanized Sanskrit: su, Literal Chinese meaning: Su) and ཏྲི (Tibetan, Devanagari: त्रि, Romanized Sanskrit: tri, Literal Chinese meaning: Zha), the purifying is ཨོཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om), the alaya consciousness. For the wisdom vein, the light is a yellow square, the to-be-purified are ཨ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) and ནྲྀ (Tibetan, Devanagari: नृ, Romanized Sanskrit: nṛ, Literal Chinese meaning: Zhe), the purifying is ཧཱུཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), the mental consciousness. For the quality vein, the light is a red crescent, the to-be-purified are པྲེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: प्रे, Romanized Sanskrit: pre, Literal Chinese meaning: Bu Lie) and དུ (Tibetan, Devanagari: दु, Romanized Sanskrit: du, Literal Chinese meaning: Du), the purifying is ཨཱཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), the afflicted mind. For the self-nature vein, the light is a reddish-black triangle, and the five sense consciousnesses along with sleep reside there. Here, the lights of the nature and wisdom veins are made white and yellow, which is the explanation of the small booklet's own position, while in the 'Secret Drop,' the nature is said to be yellow and the wisdom is said to be dark blue.

Residing in the essence of unsurpassed great bliss. From the Tantra of Sun and Moon Union: In the precious palace of the Citta, there are forty-two peaceful mandalas. The body is apparent but without inherent existence. Minute parts reside in the essence of clear light. And from the Two Examinations: Great wisdom resides in the body. All thoughts are completely abandoned. Pervading all things. The body abides, not born from the body. And from the Five Stages: Always abiding in the heart, the single bindu is without change. That For the person who meditates, wisdom will surely arise. So it is. The five essences are: The essence of the veins, like a white silk thread, with a thickness of about one-tenth of a horse's tail. Inside, the essence of blood is like cinnabar juice, the essence of fire is like the heat of the sun on a mirror, the essence of wind is like the steam under the gold earth, and the essence of space is like the clear and open space. These five are originally the five mothers, five wisdoms, and five bodies. The essence of the veins is the element earth, the mother is Buddha Eye, the wisdom is like a mirror, and the body is manifest enlightenment. The essence of blood is water, the mother is Mamaki, the wisdom is equality, and the enjoyment body. The essence of fire is White Cloth, the wisdom is discernment, and the Vajra body. The essence of wind is Tara, the wisdom is accomplishment, and the emanation body. The essence of space is the Mother of the Realm of Freedom, the wisdom is emptiness, and the Dharma body. The bindu of the essence of wisdom is the essence of awareness, the luminous nature of mind. The five mothers combined are the Karma Mother, the five wisdoms combined are self-born wisdom, and the five bodies combined transform into the body of great bliss. Moreover, the six essences merge into one taste in pairs, becoming the extremely subtle three doors, or transforming into the three indestructible Vajras: earth and water are the body Vajra, fire and wind are the speech Vajra, and space and mind are the mind Vajra. From the Small Example: The indestructible wisdom bindu is the lord of the body, speech, and mind Vajra, free from one and many, and cannot be pointed out in various appearances. Thus, in the center of the five combined essences, the mandala of the essence of wisdom resides, clear and radiant. As it has always resided, the practitioner visualizes the mandala of the bindu as small as a mustard seed, a cluster of five lights, clear and not distracted by objects.
