It is merely a manifestation to the eye. For example, a person with cataracts, upon examining closely, sees hairs falling from the sky even though no hairs are falling, and has the illusion of wanting to remove them. Similarly, for the impartial nature of reality, by clinging to negation and affirmation, grasping and fixation, and dividing it into biased factions, the cycle of existence arises from delusion and is not established by valid cognition. Moreover, if there is bondage, then liberation is possible in dependence upon it. However, since there is no basis for dependence, there is no liberation in dependence upon it. All beings are primordially established in the state of neither bondage nor liberation, spontaneously accomplished in the mandala of body and wisdom, and enlightened in the nature of complete perfection. Therefore, this is the teaching that equates samsara and nirvana. To symbolize this, this tantra is directly taught for the sake of special disciples, and for the sake of teaching common disciples indirectly, inconceivable emanations such as the manifestation of the six Buddhas are displayed, showing various plays of unobstructed great compassion. Thus, the Sugata, together with the retinue endowed with power, spoke for the sake of the retinue who had become Tathagatas, so that they might understand. The name of the second chapter is: Secret, etc. This tantra has twenty-two chapters, of which this chapter separately explains the pacification of elaboration in the ultimate truth, and the manner of acting for the benefit of beings in samsara due to not realizing the truth in the relative truth. However, in reality, both are inseparable in the nature of bodhicitta, which is without bondage or liberation. Therefore, this chapter explains the generation of bodhicitta as the nature of knowing that samsara and nirvana are primordially inseparable, which is the second chapter. The third chapter has two parts: the text and the title. The text has two parts: the detailed explanation and the summary of the meaning. The first part has two parts: the general introduction to the arising of the teaching and the view to be fully understood. The first part also has two parts: the cause and the essence. The first part is from "Then, the Tathagata" to "appear." From the promise to manifest for the sake of whom, to how to manifest, that is, "appear." Where to manifest? From all the Tathagatas, the blessing of the great compassion that is without object, all-pervasive, and self-arisen.

That which is called "Arising in Time," because it transforms from the wisdom of the mind, is the wise one; because it destroys the army of karma and afflictions, it is the Muni. According to the capacity of those to be tamed, there are six kinds. From where does it arise? From the indivisible vajra of the body, speech, and mind of the Teacher, the Thus-Gone One, of the six lineages. How does it arise? Just as Brahma, while remaining in his own abode, shows the appearance of his own form in all other divine realms, so it is in accordance with the faces of those to be tamed, in the manner of self-appearance. The Uttaratantra states: "Just as Brahma, in Brahma's place, without moving from his abode, effortlessly shows his appearance in all the abodes of the gods, so too, the Muni, from the Dharmakaya, without moving, in all realms, effortlessly shows his emanations to those who are fortunate." Thus it is. Secondly, the essence has two aspects: brief explanation and detailed explanation. The first is from "after appearing" to "accomplishing the purpose." Thus, after the six Munis appear, they also accomplish the purpose, the realm of which is the three lower realms and gods and humans, that is, the five types of beings, or the five types of beings with the potential for the five vehicles. Where do they accomplish the purpose? In the field of those to be tamed, according to the differences in the karma of those to be tamed, indicating the abodes of beings in the vertical and horizontal directions, indicating the worlds of beings in the vertical direction, the differences in the vessel-worlds, such as round ones, and the six different natures of the four-way intersections and those without coverings, pervading the ten directions, immeasurable and limitless, appearing like the expanse of space, the limitless and boundless realms. Included within that are the small thousand worlds, the four continents contained from the water wheel up to the first dhyana. Thus, a thousand of these is a small thousand world, a thousand small thousand worlds is a middle thousand world, and a thousand middle thousand worlds is a great thousand world. In each of these worlds, a great Muni, a Bhagavan, appears to accomplish the purpose. How they accomplish the purpose will be described below, through the four methods of taming, such as taming with the merit of the body. The second has four aspects: taming with the merit of the body, with the direct perception of the mind, with inconceivable miraculous powers, and with the wisdom of speech. The first is from "being born" to "the Muni of the Teacher." Each hundred million Jambudvipas.
