Arisen. How does it arise? All the appearances of the pure Tathagata's body and wisdom, and all the impure phenomena of samsara, the outer and inner containers and contents, are non-dual, whether they can be realized or not. Without a doer, the Buddha, who is primordially spontaneously accomplished, is characterized by the nature of being one with the inseparable truth. Because it is indivisible, compassion arises, and although there is nothing to be done, the root of sentient beings' own conceptualizations is the two kinds of ignorance. In terms of results, the Asuras below are included in the realm of the gods, and the lower realms are included in the animal realm. The suffering and diseases of the five types of beings ripen in unimaginable ways. With great compassion that has no object of focus, and wisdom, the great wisdom that knows the mind of the Buddha as it is. From within that very nature, the wisdom that knows as it is without ceasing, compassion arises for the sake of those to be tamed, and it is thought that they will be benefited. Therefore, this is said, and it is promised that it will be widely proclaimed. Why proclaim it widely? Out of the loving nature for those who have not realized, it is said with contempt, "Emaho." The nature of mind is primordially self-purified, it is the Sugata-garbha. Because of this, co-emergent ignorance does not recognize its own face. The condition is the inverted conceptualizations of each sentient being, and afflictions arise from imputation, and by the power of engaging in various actions, these phenomena of samsara suddenly appear as if seeing a snake in a speckled rope. From this arise various bodies such as the happy and unhappy realms, and the objects of desire of each, such as forms, sounds, smells, tastes, etc., and various places of high and low, and various appearances such as the suffering of heat and cold. Sentient beings grasp at "I" and "This is mine," and are bound by the grasper and the grasped, and are miserable. But this is only an appearance of delusion. In ultimate truth, all these beings are not bound by any binder, nor are they bound by anything. The one who is bound does not even exist. But in conventional truth, it appears as if bound, but in reality it is bound by one's own conceptual clinging to self. Other than that, there is no other binder, but the mind is deluded.
