Since mind is not an object to be fixated on just one aspect, the different establishments of common and uncommon vehicles should not refute each other. As it says in the commentary on the Ornament of Clear Realization: "This is just another establishment, therefore, one should never rely on the tenets of other vehicles to refute." As it is said. Third, the perfect teacher has two aspects: the nature and essence of the teacher. First, the nature is shown from "Thus Gone One" to "indivisible nature." Furthermore, it says in the Later Tantra: "Because he goes to suchness, he is manifested as the Thus Gone One." This is because the obscuring clinging, the grasper and the grasped, are completely abandoned, so he goes to the basis as it is. Also, because there is nothing to be abandoned in the self-arisen wisdom, it is the very nature of truth. Without seeking the fruit, the self-appearing essence is the Buddha, complete in the mandala of body and wisdom. The word Buddha means both awakening, like waking up from sleep, and expanding, like a lotus flower opening. Therefore, it is awakening from the sleep of ignorance and expanding wisdom on the knowable. As it says in the Seventy Verses on Refuge: "Awakening from the sleep of ignorance, and expanding wisdom on the knowable." That is to say, here, by the power of manifesting the meaning as it is, it is established on the ultimate qualities without abandonment or attainment. As it says in the Limb: "Ignorance itself is clear wisdom, afflictions and suffering are supreme enlightenment." Such a nature is one that has overcome all four maras, two obscurations, and habitual tendencies, and abides in the nature of all great qualities such as the five bodies, so it is endowed. Because it does not abide in the two extremes, it cannot be shown as "this is its own nature," so it is transcendent. As it says in the Vajra Sequence: "Destroying the four maras and so on with the confidence of wisdom, the qualities such as the five bodies are beyond expression, and it cannot be shown as this is its own nature." The way to conquer the four maras is: the five afflictions themselves are purified into the nature of the five wisdoms, so the affliction mara is conquered. Because of that purification, the five aggregates will undoubtedly manifest as the nature of the five families, so the aggregate mara is conquered. In this way, realizing the deity and conceptual thought as inseparable is not hindered by the desire realm.

Furthermore, by vanquishing the Māra of the aggregates, the aggregates themselves have no connection. Since there are no aggregates, the very nature of mind is liberated from birth and death, thus also vanquishing the Māra of the sons of the gods and the Māra of death. As it is said in the extensive [text]: "The vow of cutting off the four Māras is: May afflictions themselves be completely purified. May the five aggregates themselves manifestly awaken. May self be the mandala of the gods. [May it] abide in the eternal place without birth and death." The two obscurations are: As it is said in the Uttaratantra: "Whatever conceptual thought of the three spheres, that is said to be the obscuration of knowledge. Whatever conceptual thought of miserliness and so forth, that is said to be the obscuration of affliction." Therefore, conceptual thought of the self-character of the five poisons is the obscuration of affliction. The obscuration of knowledge is: In the Ornament of the Light of Wisdom Sutra, it is explained in relation to the mental activity of the three times, meaning the conceptual thought of clinging to the antidote that purifies the meaning. Habitual tendencies are the habitual tendencies of the ultimate transformation of subtle arising, that is, the union of the three winds of white and red, which is considered to be the arising of consciousness as the phenomena of dualistic samsara. Therefore, it is said that from the bondage of the acting support, the connection between the support and the supported is severed and purified. This is the ultimate truth of the path, the very subtle obscuration that must be purified only by the vehicle of mantra. Possessing the qualities of the five kāyas is in accordance with the meaning of explaining the six perfections that are superior to others. As it is said in the Saṃpuṭī: "Mastery and beauty, splendor and fame and wisdom, diligence, perfection, complete, it is said to possess these six." Therefore, mastery is the nature of having vanquished all habitual tendencies, the extremely pure dharmakāya and dharmadhātu wisdom. Similarly, beauty is the source of all qualities, manifest enlightenment and mirror-like wisdom. Splendor and fame are the saṃbhogakāya and equality wisdom that unswervingly bestow qualities on beings. Wisdom is the vajrakāya and discriminating wisdom that knows all dharmas indivisibly at once. Diligence is the appearance of immeasurable activity, the nirmāṇakāya and accomplishing wisdom. Fully enjoying the dharmas of both saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, but everything is spontaneously accomplished as the play of wisdom, because it transcends the sphere of activity of acceptance and rejection, it is superior to others, therefore it is great. Moreover, the eight directions of above, below, and intermediate directions, that is, the directions.
