This refers to the place represented by the letter ཨེ་ (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Devanagari: ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit: ai, literal Chinese meaning: Oh). It is the lotus gate of the Mother, the triangular door, the square courtyard, the crescent-shaped place of birth, the round tip of the rich realm. Having the shape of the four activities such as ཨེ་ (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Devanagari: ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit: ai, literal Chinese meaning: Oh), it is the place where the secret mandala of the teacher resides. Speech refers to the teacher represented by the letter ཝཾ་ (Tibetan: ཝཾ་, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Wang). It is the essence of thirteen million root channels gathered at the top of the Father Buddha's Vajra Jewel, the bindu of mundane wisdom with the shape of the letter ཝཾ་ (Tibetan: ཝཾ་, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Wang), which is the nature of clearly showing bliss in the continuum of both Father and Mother, therefore it is the teacher. Saying refers to the retinue represented by the letter མ་ (Tibetan: མ་, Devanagari: मा, Romanized Sanskrit: mā, literal Chinese meaning: Ma). མ་ད་ན་སྡོམ་བྱེད། (Tibetan) མ་ནུ་ནི་ཡིད་དེ། (Tibetan) Acting, discipline, and the secret consciousness with means, is the experience of wisdom, therefore it is the retinue. Of refers to being represented by the letter ཡ་ (Tibetan: ཡ་, Devanagari: या, Romanized Sanskrit: yā, literal Chinese meaning: Ya). From the sound of ཡཱ་ནའི་ (Tibetan), it is called the Great Vehicle doctrine. What is that? བ་ར་མཱརྠ་ (Tibetan) refers to the ultimate truth. What is to be experienced is the five perfect minds, the last of the sixteen joys, the great bliss with four liberations, the co-emergent wisdom of nature. Time refers to the time represented by the letter ཡ་ (Tibetan: ཡ་, Devanagari: या, Romanized Sanskrit: yā, literal Chinese meaning: Ya). When experiencing that, this time cannot be expressed, therefore it is an inconceivable time. ནཱ་མ་ནི་ (Tibetan) refers to the names of the five perfections, which is the ending that represents them. Second, from the beginning of the characteristics of the Tantra, the detailed explanation is divided into five: Dharma, time, teacher, place, and the perfection of the retinue. The first is: What is said in this way is the secret essence. Among them, what is said in this way is a word that represents all the meanings of the Tantra. Then, what does it mean to say "declare" instead of saying "I heard"? The necessity of saying "I heard" in other Tantras is: the compiler admits that he is not the teacher and says so, he himself heard directly from the teacher, not indirectly from others, he only heard the words, but did not understand the meaning. Here, however, an uncommon position is taken, the compiler admits that he is no different from the teacher, saying that what I said in Akanishta before, I will also declare here now. It is for this very reason that this teaching is also the intention of the Victorious Ones.

This symbolizes the demonstration of the ultimate and definitive meaning. The noble Vajrapani himself also demonstrates the greatness that surpasses other common compilers. As it is said in the extensive commentary of "Sunlight Lion": "'Speaking' indicates that the teacher and disciples are not separate." And in "Spark," it also says: "This is an uncommon beginning, because it transcends other tantras." That is to say, the compiler himself is not different from the teacher and the tantra. In the root tantra of "The Peaceful Gathering of Bliss," it says: "I am the great king, and the teaching and listening are also myself." In "Two Examinations," it says: "The speaker is me, the Dharma is also me, and the listener with his own retinue is also me." In "Secret Accomplishment," it says: "The one who teaches the tantra is the Mind Vajra, and the speaker is also the compiler." Second, the perfection of time is the word "time," which means that when this is said, this teacher dwells here with these retinues, and it should be connected in this way. So, why not say "at one time"? Here, the word "time" indicates the equality of the four times, because the teacher, the Sambhogakaya, constantly turns the wheel of Dharma, transcending the limitations of an occasional time, therefore, the uncommon greatness of time is mentioned. As it is said in "Ocean": "At that time, time is limitless, the essence is the equality of the four times." In another common way, the necessity of determining "one time" is that one time hearing this Dharma and not hearing it at other times indicates that the Buddha's words are difficult to obtain; and here hearing this Dharma and also hearing other Dharmas at other times indicates that the compiler himself has heard extensively; and it indicates that understanding can be achieved by hearing it once, and that wisdom is outstanding. Here, some say that this tantra is not the true Buddha's word, because it does not say "Thus have I heard, at one time," so the beginning is wrong. If this is the case, many pure tantras such as the Kalachakra, the Manjushri-namasamgiti, and the root tantra of Chakrasamvara will also become not the true Buddha's word, which is an unexamined outburst. Therefore, the Tathagatas are proficient in various illusions like magic, and can see the near shore...
