In order to inquire about those from that noble one, it is said thus. O noble beings, have you seen the essence of enlightenment? Noble beings, from that very essence of enlightenment, it is said thus. O noble spiritual friend, we have seen the essence of enlightenment without seeing it. The Teacher said: How do you see without seeing? They replied: Without seeing the essence of enlightenment, we see everything as the essence of enlightenment. The Teacher said: What is meant by the essence of enlightenment? They replied: O noble spiritual friend, the essence of enlightenment refers to the secret, supreme intention of all Buddhas. The Teacher said: O noble beings, what is meant by supreme intention? They replied: Whatever is the nature of all things, that is it. The Teacher said: Why is the nature of all things called secret mantra? They replied: Whatever is the nature of all things, it is unseen by anyone, not understood, not an object of experience, unspeakable, beyond words, inconceivable, immeasurable, difficult to examine, and difficult to show. The Teacher said: O noble beings, have you seen the nature of all things? They replied: O noble spiritual friend, we have not seen the nature of all things. The Teacher said: Why have you not seen it? They replied: Because it is invisible. The Teacher said: O noble beings, have you not seen the nature of all things? They replied: O noble spiritual friend, we have seen it. The Teacher said: O noble beings, how have you seen it? They replied: Whatever is the nature of all things, it is unmade, unmixed, unborn, uncreated, just as it is, in the mandala of original suchness. The Teacher said: Have you seen the Buddha? They replied: We have not seen him. The Teacher said: Why have you not seen him? They replied: Because he is invisible. The Teacher said: Have you not seen him? They replied: We have seen him. The Teacher said: How have you seen him? They replied: Everything is enlightened in suchness, in the sound pervading all, in the spontaneously accomplished mandala of nature. The Teacher said: Have you seen all minds? They replied: We have not seen them. The Teacher said: Why have you not seen them? They replied: Because they are invisible. The Teacher said: Have you not seen them? They rep

I am. Asked: How do you see? Answered: I see everything in the mandala of the root Bodhicitta. Asked: Good man, do you desire the essence of Bodhi? Answered: The virtuous friend is fully matured. Asked: Why do you not desire? Answered: That which is called a good man, and that which is called sentient being, sentient being, has not moved from the essence of Bodhi. Everything has not moved from suchness. Asked: Good man, from where do you seek the essence of Bodhi? Answered: I do not seek from anywhere. Asked: Why do you not seek? Answered: Everything is the essence of Bodhi, so it does not abide anywhere. Asked: Good men, do you desire to travel through all the Buddha fields? Answered: I do not desire to travel through all. Asked: Why do you not travel? Answered: Because all the limits of sentient beings are pure Buddha fields. Asked: Good man, do you abide in the immovability of non-discrimination? Answered: I do not enter into non-discrimination. Asked: Why do you not enter? Answered: Because I myself am non-discrimination, so now I should not enter into non-discrimination.
