Though hidden and not visible, yet the mind-image, manifest consciousness, and omniscient appear. Whatever is examined, it is thus and thus, and will eventually become clearly manifest. The natures of existence and non-existence, good and bad, are like the flowing of water. Everything is accomplished by this. Therefore, meditation focuses on the nature of mind. For example, a person who retrieves treasures from the sea, through practice and enduring the suffering of aquatic creatures, bees, and other venomous beings, achieves success with difficulty. Similarly, a yogi seeking truth, subdues the enemies of distraction, dullness, and agitation. These difficult-to-overcome actions, if practiced, will lead to the attainment of happiness. This is the supreme meditation, the discipline of practice. Compared to merely being familiar with the nature of mind, it is more precious to become intimate with it. Friends, know that this is the gain of practice. Having spoken thus, even the inferior ones attained the warmth of the supreme intention. From the Great Sutra of the Collection of Intentions of All Buddhas, the chapter called "Yoga Liberation," the seventy-third.

And also the mothers. Due to the power of discipline, the inferior body. To rely on it will also lead to downfall. If there is the wisdom and means of the holy ones, Even the inferior objects of samsara, Will be liberated as holy beings. Liberation is self-arising, not from others. Liberation and non-liberation, and so on, All dualistic thoughts are extremes. The all-knowing ones are not even in the middle. That is liberation without liberation. This is a sacred secret, To be kept secret from all who are ignorant and of small intellect. Having faults is not a crime, But for the benefit of those of small intellect. Therefore, for those who possess wisdom and means, The effort of practice and the necessary tools are not primarily taught. Even if done, there is no obstruction. Even if not done, it is certain in that way. Thus, if one possesses wisdom and means, All sentient beings who commit the five heinous crimes, Slay the essence of enlightenment with the sword, It will turn into immeasurable merit if not slain, What everyone strives for, Is the very essence of one's mind. If for immeasurable eons, One disturbs the three realms, one will not realize it. Here, with wisdom and means, Without action, spontaneously arising self-awareness, The great meaning of yoga is like a pure lotus. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, it is naturally accomplished. Just as darkness, poison, and substances, Medicine, light turn into gold, People without the elixir of transformation, Though enduring various difficult tasks, Suffering will not be accomplished. If someone with the essential instructions, In a way that is effortless, Like transforming medicine and light into gold, The great yogi accomplishes the meaning, That is the merit of wisdom and means. And those who do not possess it, Though enduring hardship, will not accomplish it. Who sees this secret of the mind? It is those who possess wisdom and means. Whatever the supreme purpose of desire may be, They accomplish it effortlessly. Whatever accomplishes things, Is accomplished by wisdom and means. Things will be accomplished, These teachings should be cherished. Friends, these are said to be of small effort and great meaning. Having said that, The inferior ones all possessed wisdom, decided with deliberation, and were seized by means. From the great sutra that gathers the intentions of all Buddhas, the seventy-fourth chapter called "Accomplishing the Definitive Meaning" is complete. Then again, the Lord of Secrets, to the Lord of Lanka and others, with an inferior body, thin

Summoning those heroes in an extremely majestic manner, he said: O friends, what is it that is condensed into one sutra? It is like this: Thus have I heard, at one time, all the Tathagatas, the Bhagavat, in the purity of their own nature, all the Tathagatas gathered together, all the Tathagatas gathered together in one thought, and declared that the Dharma-nature is completely pure, all Dharmas are completely pure in their own nature, and the supreme realm of the intention of all the Tathagatas. Thus, from the Bhagavat's purity of own nature, it is said. In this way, it is like this: The indivisible Vajra Samaya, arises from the Vajra Thusness, the Dharma-nature Vajra Samaya, if accomplished, then there is no time of destruction. O friends, the Bhagavat has spoken thus from the nature of complete purity. O friends, again like this: The intention of all the Victors, all arise from that sacredness itself, there is no other, nor is there existence, nor does it change from it. The Bhagavat, the Enjoyment Body, spoke thus because of the purity of its own nature. Again, O friends, like this: The words spoken by the holy ones, the Vajra armor that is vowed, this most sacred word, if transgressed, becomes a broken vow. The Bhagavat, the secret body, spoke thus because of the purity of its own nature. Again, O friends, like this: This sacredness of the Victors, by speaking, all the infinite vows, all, all are protected, this protection is difficult to obtain. The Bhagavat, the constant arising, spoke thus because of the purity of its own nature. O friends, like this: The nature of hatred is different, because of equality in Bodhicitta, it is different from Thusness, the Vajra Samaya that is not abandoned and not impure. The Bhagavat, Vajrasattva, spoke thus because of the purity of its own nature. O friends, like this: The object of desire and attachment itself, whatever its nature is, is Thusness, the enjoyment and feeling are completely pure, the conduct is unattached, the Vajra Samaya. The Bhagavat, Infinite Light, spoke thus because of the purity of its own nature. Again, like this: All are the same in Thusness, without difference or distinction, because of the Vajra space light.
