The conduct of mind has five aspects: to conduct by purifying afflictions in their own place with the mind, to conduct the mind as self-originated wisdom, to conduct the mind as the essence of immutability, to conduct the mind as the very essence of non-fabrication, and to conduct the mind as wisdom without seeking. Among these, to conduct by purifying afflictions in their own place with the mind means that all grasping onto the mind, such as attachment, anger, delusion, pride, jealousy, etc., arises from the meaning and arising of great wisdom, resulting in a complete abandonment. This is knowing that it accords with the meaning of the unerring nature of reality, and it is to conduct by purifying afflictions in their own place with the mind. Regarding this, it should be said as follows: The very nature of great attachment is the compassionate parents of the Buddhas, clinging with the meaning of non-duality. Those who possess such scriptural authority have nothing that goes astray except the taste of bliss. The very nature of great delusion is the Dharmakaya, without difference. In a state without meaningful objects, those who possess such scriptural authority have no straying into unknowing ignorance except from the unborn. The very nature of great anger is the destruction of all conceptualizations and signs, the playful body skilled in means. Those who possess such scriptural authority have no straying into wandering in samsara except from the playful body. The very nature of great pride is the measurement that pervades all, the self-originated king of means. Those who possess such scriptural authority have no straying into afflicted arrogance except from the great body. The very nature of great jealousy is that it does not accommodate the signs of afflictions, and there is no conceptualization in the state of reality. Those who possess such scriptural authority have no straying into partiality except from the meaning of the pith instructions. Thus, whatever conduct it may be, even conducting afflictions becomes a place of conduct. Even conducting becomes a virtue, and there is nothing that does not accomplish the meaning. Thus, without day or night, if one does not stray from these pith instructions, it is the supreme conduct of mind, prophesied by Samantabhadra. Among these, to conduct the mind as self-originated wisdom means that self-originated wisdom does not change from seeking. Why is that? Because from the very beginning, everything has been accomplished in the state of Samantabhadra, and no cause or condition can...

Because it is not produced, but arises from the space of unborn self-originated wisdom. Initially, it is not produced, in the middle it is not sought, and in the end it is not accomplished. Just as there is no seeking in the sky but it appears, it possesses the meaning of realizing self-originated wisdom. This, in the minds of valid yogis, arises as valid as self-appearance. To this, it should be said: The six realms of beings Without exception, no one has done it, and no one will do it. All the objects and faculties, and all the aggregates of consciousness, arise from the distinction of realizing one's own mind. For example, from the nature of the sky, the elements appear and change in equilibrium, but just as they self-arise in the sky. From the nature of the all-pervading mind, how things appear and are spoken of, and how everything is understood and realized, arises from the wisdom of the self-originated king. If the power of karma is strong, then that self-originated wisdom will also not exist. If the mind is samsara, samsara is also self-originated wisdom. The instruction of realization will arise without being shown. If the mind is the three times, the three poisons are also self-originated wisdom. However one thinks, that kind of thinking is good. In practicing self-originated wisdom, there is not even the name of samsara or the lower realms. In the nature of sentient beings, there is no abandoning or taking. Because realization is self-originated in space, the Victorious Ones praise this. The arising of memory and awareness in the mind is also the self-originated king wisdom. The arising of feelings and sensations in the mind is also the self-originated king wisdom. The great self-originated wisdom is the sovereign lord of the Victorious Ones of the three times. The view is the space of no birth and no death, realization is the nature of no gathering and no scattering, conduct is to practice the essence without fabrication, accomplishment is to accomplish without seeking. The authoritative statement that ascertains the essence of meaning, because it exists within oneself, is the pure land of bliss, because the cause itself is pure, it is the place of liberation, because it is in accordance with the scriptures, it is the definitive meaning. Like this, whatever the mind's activity is, however it is practiced, it is simply practice. Apart from self-origination, there is no attachment or clinging whatsoever. Like this, without time or continuity, if one does not stray from this instruction, that is said to be the self-originated conduct of the mind. To that, the so-called practice of the unchanging essence of the mind is because the mind does not change into color and shape. Unchanging is the essence of meaning. For example, whatever is clear is the sun, and whatever is the sun
