B. Between that throne, there are golden lions with three eyes, three, seven, four, twenty-eight in number, appearing as if accomplished through wisdom, facing the four directions and the eight intermediate directions. In between, the gaps of the throne are where the lions reside. Searching for the retinue of Samantabhadra, it cannot be found. In the realm of non-differentiation, residing in the sphere of equality, thus, the mind is empowered to all phenomena of cause and effect, karma and suffering, body and wisdom. The King of Wisdom is perfectly independent. Yogis who abide in this way, empowerment is not contradictory, and even without empowerment, all empowerments are complete. There is no need to offer to the golden ground, and offering is also not contradictory. Therefore, it is said as follows: Although it exists and appears as a substance, it appears and is adorned with the wisdom of existence. Although it does not exist and appears as annihilation, all three realms are the sphere of emptiness. Although it transcends both existence and non-existence, the ultimate supreme meaning is also destroyed. The golden color radiates light, Vajra Siṃhanāda, destroys the armies of the four directions and eight intermediate directions, called the sign. The lotus has eight roots. Those thrones are also made of lotus Heruka Naga, so they sit on a great black snake as a seat. From the four directions and eight intermediate directions, the eastern Dhṛtarāṣṭra, the southern Yama, the western Nāga, the northern Yaksha, the fire god, the Rakshasa, the wind god, and the powerful ones, all of them sit as seats under their feet. Then, in that retinue, the manifestations of Heruka, and the assembly of mothers such as the Great Mother Krodheśvarī, the Ḍākinīs accomplished through wisdom and karma, the Wrathful Ones, the Wrathful Mothers, the Messengers, and the Powerful Mothers, etc., gathered around the Bhagavan, the Great Glorious One, prostrated and paid homage, and sat in one direction, saying: Emaho, the secret Dharma, is perfected in the Great Bliss of the Buddha. Heruka, who dispels the darkness of ignorance, I prostrate to you, the supreme glorious one. Thus praising and paying homage. Then the retinue, the Great Glorious Vajra Heruka, declared: O Bhagavan Padma Heruka, please bestow this Tantra, the lineage that transcends the world. After requesting thus, the Bhagavan, who is great in compassion and skillful in means, entered into the Samadhi of loving-kindness of true wisdom, and first

The Samadhi of Suchness also has three aspects: the necessity of meditation, the method, and the result. The necessity of meditation is that sentient beings are bound by the power of grasping and being grasped, and they wander in samsara due to their attachment to phenomena and characteristics. Therefore, as an antidote to this, one should meditate on non-conceptualization. The method of meditation is that all of samsara and nirvana are not separate from one's own mind. Being free from grasping and being grasped appears as nirvana, and not being free from grasping and being grasped is the basis for remaining in samsara and peace. Open the mouths of the three vessels with three distinctions, subdue the continuum with non-conceptualization, focus on the moment as being without inherent existence, the former has passed, the latter has not arisen, and the present does not abide. Also, understand that one should not be attached to the Dharmakaya. Without inherent existence, both grasping and being grasped are empty, empty of topics and sources, neither empty nor not empty, and not focused on the Middle Way. As an antidote to conceptualization, combine the non-conceptual mind with the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, literal Chinese meaning: A), and do not focus on the image of myself as the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, literal Chinese meaning: A), and meditating without intention is the necessity. The method of meditation is, as it says, making the body balance hand seal, thus meditate on my letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, literal Chinese meaning: A) in that way, it is only emptiness. The result of meditation is that when I meditate in this way during the time of sentient beings, the result is that in the state of noble beings, the body attains the Dharmakaya, and one obtains the wisdom of emptiness and the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, which is the result of meditation. It is also said that this is how the arising of Samadhi is taught. Non-conceptual wisdom is unborn, the extremes of grasping and conceptualization diminish, the unattached Dharmadhatu, all free from elaboration, the Dharmadhatu is just as it is, conceptualization is free from elaboration, transcending the realm. Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ sarvatathāgatamahāśūnyatājñānasamādhisvabhāvaātmakohaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om, all Tathagatas, great emptiness, wisdom, Samadhi, self-nature, I), thus stating the essence. Tathagata (Tibetan: ཏ་ཐུ་ག་ཏ་, Devanagari: तथागत, Romanized Sanskrit: tathāgata, literal Chinese meaning: Tathagata) is the Thus Gone One. Maha (Tibetan: མ་ཧྭ་, Devanagari: महा, Romanized Sanskrit: mahā, literal Chinese meaning: Great) is great. Shunya (Tibetan: ཤཱ་རྒྱ་ཏ་, Devanagari: शून्यता, Romanized Sanskrit: śūnyatā, literal Chinese meaning: Emptiness) is emptiness. Jñana (Tibetan: ཙྭ་ན་, Devanagari: ज्ञान, Romanized Sanskrit: jñāna, literal Chinese meaning: Wisdom) is wisdom. Samadhi (Tibetan: ས་མུ་དྷི་, Devanagari: समाधि, Romanized Sanskrit: samādhi, literal Chinese meaning: Samadhi) is Samadhi. Romanized Sanskrit: svabhāvaātmakohaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Self-nature I) is bless me with my own nature. This is the teaching on the Samadhi of Suchness. By meditating in this way, one attains the Samadhi of All-Illuminating.
