It proceeds from this mother. Therefore, this path should be known. Thus, therefore, this path is also called the father of all Tathagatas. Likewise, it is also called mother, also called son, also called master, also called lineage, also called life, also called wealth, also called servant, also called body, also called speech, also called mind, also called qualities, and also called great activity. Why is that? Because of great skillful means, great wisdom, great enlightenment, great power, suchness, being difficult to surpass, the nature of dharma being inexhaustible, great compassion, being extremely majestic, showing various forms, knowing everything, arising in any way, and performing various deeds, it should be known that these are so. Therefore, this path should also be fully known. Likewise, it is also called great desire. It is also called great living, also called great enjoyment, also called great resources, also called cause, also called condition, also called result, also called conduct, also called miracles, also called mudra, also called attendance, also called close attendance, also called accomplishment, also called great accomplishment, also called great assembly, and also called all-pervasive perfection. Why is that? Because there are various desires for objects, living by what is focused on, acting in a confused manner, accomplishing what is needed, making it a result, completely reversing, accomplishing meaning, accumulating maturation, transforming into nature, doing actions, arising in various ways, showing signs, completely subduing, extremely acting, making desire, especially desiring, all abundance, and spontaneously accomplishing, it should be fully known. Furthermore, this great assembly of gatherings has everything. It should be known that all dharmas are gathered in the three yogas. What are the three? The yoga of cause, the yoga of condition, and the yoga of result. These three are also this itself, and it should be known that they arise from this. How is that? The cause is confusion.

Even by understanding just one thing, if one wishes to attain enlightenment, one should also understand this path. Furthermore, to attain enlightenment, one should also understand the two signs, the three discriminations, the four inversions, the five afflictions, the five aggregates, the five faculties, the six causes, the twelve links of dependent origination, the twelve sources of birth, the eighteen elements, the eleven conducts, the four ripenings, the five paths, the six abodes, and the three limits. Why is that? Because it is the basis for desiring results. That path, because of not understanding, is called delusion. Because of duality with the object, it is called a sign. Because of conceiving the three times as real, it is called discrimination. Because of deviating from certainty, it is called straying from meaning, as well as deviating from equality, deviating from direction, and deviating from the basis, therefore it is called inversion. Because cause and effect are all afflicted, it is called being obscured by darkness, being tormented by craving, being oppressed by trees, being entangled by non-discrimination, and everything being disturbed, therefore it is called affliction. Because everything is gathered, it is called the gathering of causes, as well as feeling in dependent origination, knowing in signs, creating from everything, and distinguishing in various ways, therefore it is called aggregate. Because it appears at the door and is independent and active with respect to the object, it is called being independent in seeing, being independent in hearing, being independent in feeling, being independent in experiencing, and being independent in touching, therefore it is called faculty. Because it becomes a fruit, it is called being independent in holding, creating gentleness, creating attachment, driving movement, revealing production, and ripening in time, therefore it is called cause. Because it is related as a condition, it is called seed, root, sprout, thicket, branch, trunk, leaf, flower, fruit, essence, and dryness, therefore it is called condition. Because signs arise, it is called the arising of seeing, appearance, hearing, sound image, feeling, smell, experience, taste, touch, knowledge, and the arising of dharma, therefore it is called birth. Because it is the nature of signs, it is the nature of seeing, the dharma of appearance, the clear dharma, the dharma of hearing, the dharma of fame, the clear dharma, the dharma of feeling, the dharma of smell, the satisfying dharma, the dharma of experience, the dharma of taste, and the tasting dharma.
