The nature of all things is clear. In clarity itself, there is no object to be seen. The path of profound and vast skillful means and wisdom, transcends the perilous path of dispelling elaborations and signs. Its expanse is so vast that it is free from the two paths. The path of equality without grasping at center or edge. Once immersed in the oneness of equality, it is free from the mind that seeks without a place to seek. Having abandoned the extremes of acceptance and rejection, it abides in a state of non-abiding. Because it is of one taste in the realm of dharmata, there is no duality of knower and known. If one knows the nature of dharma from the beginning, why seek dharmata elsewhere? For example, the happiness and suffering of illusion, when dispelled, neither is seen. The happiness and suffering of the changing samsara, are equal, and their nature is equal in meaning. Just as all times are realized as equal, if one does not follow the words and expressions, how can one grasp at the changing times as equal? Because space naturally lacks form, it does not become an object to be grasped. If the mind is unborn, the meaning cannot be fathomed. Distinguishing faults and virtues, having realized and abandoned the meaning of both, if one establishes the meaning of nature as equal, then it is merely called "meditation." Because the view of duality is unborn, whatever dualistic thoughts arise, they are naturally peaceful and unobstructed dharmas. From the beginning, unmade, the meaning is clear. The unborn, pure bodhicitta, is equal to the non-abiding wisdom mind. From the difference between awareness and ignorance, samsara and nirvana appear to be interdependent. Because there is no conceptual thought, there is no cessation. It is not grasping, nor is it non-elaboration. Apart from showing the meaning of truth, the meaning cannot be expressed in words. In the nature that appears but is non-existent, a mind with knowing intellect does not arise. In this meaning of emptiness of equality, one does not attach the label of emptiness with meaning. In the unmade, natural, peaceful nature, with the wisdom that is free from the concept of signs, if even a trace of existence is not seen, how can one grasp at arising sensations? Because all are non-abiding enlightenment, although it is not attained by seeking, like awakening from an illusion and being free from delusion, non-elaborate wisdom abides in the essence. Grasping in samsara is poison, if one does not know the suffering of samsara, how can happiness come from drinking poison? When properly mixed, poison itself can turn into medicine. The actions of samsara appear in this way. Like the unbearable sting of a poisonous arrow in a delusion, the suffering of samsara appears from ignorance. Because dreams and illusions are inexhaustible, one is extremely weakened.

When suffering arises, it feels as if seized by the Lord of Death, Mara. Other protectors and nobles are of no help. Like a potion that dispels demons, one should realize the supreme, true path. When the madness of poisonous disease arises, it cannot be endured for even a moment. One seeks the aid of medicine and doctors. Just as one no longer clings to those after recovery, so too, one should strive to dispel the delusion of samsara as if from a dream. Even if one strives in practice and samadhi, realizing the emptiness of samsara is enlightenment. Like an illusion, cause and effect are not deceptive, yet they appear so to the foolish and ignorant. Those with the skill of equanimity and wisdom see samsara as merely a word of delusion. Unmistaken path-wisdom is clear in their minds, and they have no conceited thoughts of having attained through effort. If the nature of mind is not in harmony with meaning, mere words of harmony cannot fathom the meaning. Even if the wheel of illusion does not move, it appears only as a distorted, illusory phenomenon. Having realized that the nature of mind is primordially enlightened, one strives to apply oneself to the meaning of wisdom, gathering the power of self-arising qualities. What connection is there to delusion? When the mind of enlightenment is perfected in thought, the supreme wisdom is endowed with the body of equanimity. Through the empowerment of the supreme lama endowed with samadhi, and through the actions of the body that accumulate supreme merit, the form body endowed with supreme fortune does not come about through the ripening of karma. It is not obtained by seeking. That which is the time of cause is itself the supreme fruit. The samadhi that discerns the nature of mind is used for the benefit of beings in due time. One does not traverse the spontaneously accomplished ground. Knowing the ground of samsara to be a place of bliss, one does not abide in the suffering of samsara. Enlightenment is connected to the path of samsara. The nature of illusion is not imposed, self-arising, free from concepts, and equal in oneness. In the meaning of equality itself, the nature of reality is also clear in the nature of reality. Even though one speaks the word "equal," it does not change conformity with the meaning of equality. Enlightenment is also unobservable, and what is said is "non-abiding." The grasping of a place and an object is called grasper and grasped. If the mind of enlightenment is like an illusion and does not exist, then the emptiness that is devoid of substance and place, the nature that does not abide in space, that which is taught is non-existent. The body of meditation is the main thing, and the place is all the mudras of the body. They arise from attachment to signs. There is nothing to seek from the signless mind. If the body is like a mirage, there is no object of focus in place and mudra. For the sake of action
