Arises from itself. Likewise, by the characteristic of conceptualization, Immediately arises from itself. The nature of non-action, The nature of all phenomena, like the sky, Should not be sought therein. If one strives, it is suffering, The ocean of samsara is difficult to cross. The nature that cannot be sought, By leaving it unsought, is meditation. The nature of equality as it is, Without an object, is Samantabhadra. Without alteration, naturally abiding is meditation. If one seeks in this and that, Even that, by a skilled person, How can one think of oneself by oneself? Just as the power of the eye, How can it see its own power? Likewise, the profound truth also, From that, that does not arise like that. Free from all conceptualizations of characteristics, The realms of characteristics are inexpressible. The profound meaning difficult for others to realize, Is the supremely secret nature, Unfocused, the state of emptiness of self-nature. Therefore, it is a supreme secret. This unfocused, profound Dharmadhatu, Will not be heard from the ears of others. Therefore, the nature has nothing to be heard. Likewise, the power of the tongue also, In that, there is not even a speck to be spoken. In the inexpressible, supreme nature, Whoever desires to speak, Is like a child, foolish and ignorant, Wanting to dwell in the sky. Therefore, it is effortless meditation. Thus it was said. Then the retinue became silent. Emaho! Great Bodhisattva, supreme holy one, Great compassionate protector. Just as a suffering patient, Likewise, a meaningful doctor, For whatever kind of disease it is, Administers medicine as a remedy. Just as for the suffering of samsara, For the sake of sentient beings, liberation is taught. Great purity, A a la la! Thus they prayed. From the great king of tantras, the sutra of the Great Perfection of the Essence of Bodhicitta, The chapter on not seeking, The fifth chapter. Then, those assembled there, Spoke thus to Bodhicitta Vajra: Great Bodhisattva, what is the meaning of Bodhicitta? What is the suffering of beings? Then the Great Bodhisattva spoke: For the emptiness of the nature of mind, To speak of it as substantial is a low view. For example, a blind person obscured by darkness, Cannot see the object to be seen. Just as the conceptualization of grasping and being grasped, Cannot see the true meaning.

Defilement transforms. Whatever beings are, are Bodhi. The suffering of beings is the Bodhi mind. Because the nature of Bodhi is not realized, Subtle and coarse thoughts arise. The forms of thought obscure Bodhi. Obscured, there are various sufferings. For example, the shadow of the world, Obscures the clarity of appearance. Likewise, even the noble peaceful one, Is obscured by the power of grasping and being grasped. Pleasure and pain, samsara is like a game. Pleasure and pain in samsara are seen by children. Understanding samsara is Bodhi, Fully understanding, one enjoys freedom. The selflessness of self is naturally complete. Being in bliss with non-dual purity, In that, though there is no movement, It remains equally like the expanse of the sky. It is the nature of great peace. Thus it was said. Emaho! Like the beautiful moon in the center of the sky, Like the rays of the sun, it pervades all. Great Compassionate Protector, protector of beings, In the state of great compassion, we take refuge. We pray! From the Great King of Tantras, the Great Sutra of the Mind of Bodhi, the Sixth Chapter, which is beyond expression. Then, Bodhicitta Vajra and others, along with the retinue of the invincible and others, gazed at the face of the Lord, the Master of All Wisdom, with the gaze of a lion, and spoke as follows: "What are the actions of samsara like? What is the meaning of samsara and nirvana? Please, Victorious Hero, explain." Then, the Lord, the Master of All Wisdom, remained silent, abiding in a state of equanimity. Then, the assembled retinue turned to Bodhicitta Vajra and asked. Then, the Mind-Being spoke: "The distinctions of actions are emptiness; they are conceived as actions through perverted views. But that is not real; in equality without any distinction, the name 'action' is falsely imputed. All-Good Bodhi abides equally; why does action not bind beings? If action were to bind, where would pure nature be? Afflictions are the nature of Bodhi; how could action be shown? If one were to be controlled by action, the state of peace, free from thought, the self-born wisdom would not exist. Cause itself is the meaning of unborn Vajra; the non-abiding, unborn nature is like cause itself, Vajra is like a condition. It is not primordially established, the meaning of essence; because it is unborn."
